Royal Pavilion Hua Hin Reviews

A little off the main tourist area. Our ‘sea view’ was off in the distance. The hotel was lovely. Nice rooms, big, hot water on demand! Not far from night market.  We did not buy the onsite breakfast, we don’t move quickly in the morning 😉 No smart tvs. I had a medical treatment that kept me in the room for 24 hours.

The hotel is clean and the room space is big within the price range. Moreover, the lights within the room is bright whether from electricity or from the sunlight. The location is also very good as it is within a walking distance (700 meters) from the huahin night market. There’s a lot of food around the hotel e.g. the bread shop and the papaya salad. A well positioned hotel, short walk to the night market, the train station or southern bus station (mini bus direct to Bang Sue Bangkok). Also beside extensive day market. Can be quiet at night except for the occasional drunk in the street. Good room to room noise reduction. Helpful staff. If you find the lifts slow use the stairs if on lower floors. Big room with clean and soft bed. Many tv channels. Fridge, safe, kettle, cups ..

The hotel staff are all very friendly. The breakfast is very nice. I saw one guest drop an utensil and she picked it up and placed it back. I'm worried that it is not hygiene to reuse it. However, one staff member came to replace it with a new one. This impressed us. Good hygiene practice.

Location is very convenient! Hotel staff are friendly anytime.

Very good front staff and housekeeping. Clean big rooms, good value for the money (except the price doubled when I wanted to extend my stay so booked somewhere else). Only concern was a loud A/C unit outside, but I was okay with it.

Hotel is in good location close to Hua Hin night market and not too far to the beach. The room is a good size but it was very noisy from 8 am. The cleaner start working if you want to sleep after maybe difficult.

Location is about 15mins walk from Hua Hin train station. The hotel is also about 5 - 10mins walk to the night market and about 10 - 15mins walk to the beach. There are food eateries nearby the hotel so it was not an issue when the booking did not include breakfast. Check in / check out was smooth, but the hotel staff explained to me that my booking was for the economy room which is facing the road on the 2nd floor and the windows are directly facing the hotel floodlights. Fortunately, the room has day curtains at the windows to block out most of the light beam and the flood lights are switched off later into the night. The shower comes with an instant heater and the room comes with a kettle and bottled water. There is no toothbrush and no toothpaste and bedroom slippers are not provided. The mattress and pillows are firm but I didn't manage to sleep well at night as there was constant opening and closing of doors loudly along the corridor in the middle of the night and many voices could be heard speaking very loudly.

The staff were excellent. Very good buffet breakfast and hotel was very clean. They allowed me to bring my bicycle to my room no problem. If there as a weak point it would be the pool. Blocked by buildings so really no direct sun if that is a concern for you. The gym was good, small but had what I needed and everything worked and I appreciated they provided disinfectant so I could wipe down machines before and after. I would absolutely stay here again and was 2 blocks from the night market and 2 blocks from the daily fresh fruit market

We have stayed here before and came back . Our first room was much nicer than the second but it was ok because we left early to catch the train in the morning. Loved that it was close to night market. We would stay there again .

Hotel Management is very helpful, due to emergrncy I have to move two Nights to a later Date. The Hotel Management agreed without any additional charges

It is nearby the main road. Room is clean and staff is nice.

I stayed for 3 nights and I had a pleasant stay. It's only about a 20 minute walk to Hua Hin Beach or you can take the hotel shuttle. You'll have to check the sign at the front desk that lists the specific times. It's also a short walk to one of the night markets. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. My only issue is I felt the room could have used a chair or something.
