Very close to the train station and bus terminal by foot. The room is small. The shower is not separated from the toilet. The toilet is small, you better to stand to pee if you are male. Breakfast is invented but very simple and almost no protein.

The bed is quite comfortable, but the soundproofing is not very good and there are a lot of noises
Personally, I suggest that the shower space in the bathroom should be separated from wet and dry areas. In the shower area, only half of the shower space is separated from dry and wet areas, and the other half is left open for water to escape.

Good location with a very japanese style riverside. Clean, tidy room. Just fine breakfast.
However, terrible experience about the staff.
1. We were told the basement parking lot was full that we had to park on the ground level, to load our laggages along with a 2.5 yd girl in the stroller there and to drag them to the basement via the long ramp. While we were having trouble not to jar our little girl, we saw a car slided in the basement and parked there.
2. Next day, we, two adults, one little girl, plus a stroller were lead to a table for only two. As we asked to switch to the nearby sofa dining area, the staff told us that the reservation today was full when there was really no more than 15 persons in the restaurent during our time there.

The room is old, but clean. The location is convenient for transportation. There are snacks and shops within walking distance. Next door is the government, police station and tax bureau. It is very safe. The train station is not far away. You can book it with confidence. 👍

I arrived 5am and the hotel checking time is 4pm .. where in the world hotel check in time is 4pm .. you can guess from 5 am to 4 pm I have to wait to take shower.. using washroom and take a nap? It’s a 5 star. Hotel wow .. I would recommend plz check ur flight schedule and hotel check in time in Taiwan.. it doesn’t matter you are in 5 star hotel..

Booked at about 10pm. Staff are friendly and patient. The hotel is quite old. The room is quite big. As they only left with 2 queen size beds and within our budget so we just grabbed for a night stay. The room is not very well lighted. They have a balcony and there is a stationary bike. They provide toiletries and they have separate shower and bathtub. The hotel is just opposite the police station so it’s super safe. Nearby hotel has got 2 temples. There is a KTV and convenience stores too. But we note that not many shops are opened even at around 9am.

A time honoured hotel got a new “face” by cultural creative designing. The rooms and the parking lot still express their old ages but good maintenance shall be credited. It seems there are many exchanging staff from abroad, which is good for providing international services. The location is perfect, just right nearby the city hall. Even though the restaurants around this area are plenty, the ones inside Howard are good enough and the cafe on 1st floor is suitable for a family with kids.

It only costs just over 1,000 after the discount. At this price, it is considered a good value for money. It is close to the giant city and there are many shops nearby. It is convenient to buy and eat. The overall room is small, but the bed is two singles combined, and the middle one is not considered. Except for the gap, the bed is quite big, the mattress is on the hard side, the strength of the water jet in the toilet shower is OK, and the sound insulation is not very good. You can still hear chatting in other people's rooms at 3-4 o'clock in the middle of the night, and occasionally the smell of smoke comes in. The room, other than these, is pretty good.

VVinS BOSSA hotel worth a special trip to experience
The hall has a high ceiling so it doesn't feel oppressive, and there is a pool table for use.
The room has a higher ceiling than the average hotel, and the entire space feels comfortable. The bottled water is its own brand of glass bottled water, which is more thoughtful and high-quality from a hotel that prefers to use plastic bottles. In addition to basic toiletries such as combs and toothbrushes, the bathroom also comes with amazing amenities such as bath salts and facial masks.
There is an underground parking lot. You can get coupons at the counter and park for free.
What's a pity is that I didn't open the drawer until I checked out, and saw that there were many types of pillows to choose from. This is a hotel that pays great attention to every detail.

GGuest UserThe service staff guided us very attentively~~but it was because it was an RV! The parking space is outdoors and cannot be shaded! It is not convenient to carry luggage. It would be better if the parking aspect can be improved in the future. In the evening, we went to the famous Dongmen Market to eat delicious food. It was amazing! Such great seafood! The area near the hotel is also very lively!

There is a small self-service bar for breakfast (porridge, toast bread, a few fried vegetables, milk juice coffee), and there are also fried poached eggs, egg cakes, carrot cakes, etc. freshly fried by the aunt. It can be seen from some small places that it feels a bit old (the iron frame is rusty). The hot water is very hot, but it is difficult to adjust it to the right temperature. GGuest UserMy first stay at the Lakeshore Hotel was in the early 2000s.Since then, the rooms have been updated but the service is still first rate. I needed help with getting my high speed train ticket issued and the person at the front counter offered to go with me to the convenience store to help.
The bathroom has a Japanese toilet accessory and a bathtub shower so you can soak a bit if it's been a hot day in Hsinchu.
A large mall is located 5 minutes away and there are several convenience stores on the same block so there are plenty of eating options.
