Hsinchu East District 4-star Hotels

The hotel is in the middle of the city next to a proper gym and a lot of groceries and food shops. The stuff was really nice and they have some check in and check out counter, so it’s super easy. The room was big and we had a nice view.

Front desk staff was excellent! I had a couple of inquiries and they not only answered them but also gave suggestions. Room was a good size and well maintained. TV programs is well balance with English channels.

Pros: Breakfast is perfect, very good combination of western and *********. Location is perfect if you are visiting Jiao Tong University and Tsinghua University. Only a couple of bus stops. Very authentic local restaurants around. Employees are willing to help. Free soda in the fridge, decent gym. Good balcony view in certain rooms. Cons: My room was clean but shower head was loose, although I was able to fix it myself, it made the bathroom a chaos. Shampoo and bodywash are not good considering it's a 4-star. Electronic bidet that cleans you but doesn't dry you out... public baths could be a good place to relax, but it only open 4-10pm, which is not friendly to travellers who only stay for the night.

The staff at the check-in counter are full of enthusiasm for service and have excellent attitudes, especially Mr. Lin Yinwei, who gives people a warm interaction like family and friends without feeling burdened. 2. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is very chill. It’s okay to stay there all day without going out. You can completely unwind and recharge. 3. The bedding is of moderate hardness and softness, and is very comfortable. 4. Good location, convenient to go anywhere.

The hotel is in a good location, not far from RT-Mart and Jucheng Shopping Center, very convenient. There are many parking spaces in the hotel, so you don't have to worry about not having a place to park. The room is very clean and bright, and there is a small balcony, so you don't feel oppressive. The breakfast buffet is also very rich. It is a highly recommended hotel.

Taking advantage of the Qingminglian price, my family went on a short trip. I saw that the Japanese food in the hotel served a set meal of Wagyu burgers and Australian red bream tempura. It was raining outside and I was too lazy to go out, so I went to Butterfly House to try it. Unexpectedly, it was exactly the same as the photo. Not only did the hamburger patty have three big balls, but it was also served with three kinds of sauces including ”free-range eggs, onion citrus vinegar, and scallion salt sauce”. Each one had a different flavor. The scallions and enoki mushrooms that came with the red bream tempura were also very refreshing. The point is that the side dishes are also very good. The ”Hakka hookah sausage” is very distinctive, and there is also the Shijia miso fish ball soup with clams to enhance the flavor. It can be said to be worth the money. You can stay here just for this dish, yammy👍

I forgot to say: they have laundry machines ! Really nice little perk cost 40 ntd for wash (decent size loads) and 8 minutes dryer per 10 ntd. Gym was so so has the basics.

Positives: - centrally located (with a huge shopping mall just around the corner) - fantastic breakfast in terms of quality and quantity as well as the provision of local hsinchu food - amenities like free washing machine/dryer, sauna, free snacks and drinks were very much welcomed - eco friendly hotel (bathroom amenities like tooth brush/paste only provided upon request) - Room clean and functional - separate shower and bath tub - international electrical socket Negatives - bath towels could be thicker - lack of face towel - no hair conditioner - my room had no view (view of shopping centre carpark)

The location is Very convenient,near the train station, 7/11 and others. The staff are kind and approachable. There is also a free laundry where you can wash your clothes. And also a free breakfast which not every hotel offers. Lastly the price is very affordable 😃😃😃

Although the hotel is a bit old and the sound insulation is not very good (loud conversations in the corridor can be heard in the room), it is very clean and the bathroom does not have a lot of mold and grime. The location is only a 3-minute walk from the train station. It also has a motorcycle parking lot and luggage storage service. A decent hotel~
