12/22週二住宿，來之前民宿主人提醒週二周遭餐廳店家均休息，所以我們先在竹東市區好好吃一頓午餐，再帶簡易晚餐上門。當天是餐廳休息日，沒有下午茶營業，不過店主大方的分享了我這位嘴饞的客人一杯咖啡。晚上洗浴，熱水來得快，不用枯等。我和朋友都想減少資源浪費，使用的是自己帶的毛巾、牙刷和牙膏。第二天的民宿早餐很豐盛，清粥小菜中竟然還有一盤煎雞腿肉，比前一天的市區午餐還享受。 上午出門閒逛上坪老街周邊，還向店家借了兩把傘備用。街上與麵店老闆閒聊，兩夫妻都推薦住老農夫。 可惜第二天下些小雨，沒在花團錦簇的庭院中閒坐賞景。不過，窗畔早餐也算是在美景之中開啟開心的一天了。

民宿房間溫馨可愛,附近也有小吃店便利商店,離竹東開車10多分鐘還算挺方便的,可惜當天雨天行程不是太方便,在園內拍拍照望望山景看看植物也愜意,杜鵑 風鈴木 九重葛 很美唷!

環境清幽,老闆態度很好,客氣且熱心 房間平價乾淨,處處有巧思拍照很好拍 真心推薦大家來新竹玩時,可以到老農夫山莊住看看

接電話的櫃檯態度不好，因為需帶小朋友入住，所以詢問相關住宿細節問題，接電話小姐很不耐煩，好像賺太多不希罕我這組客人，再也不會去住。
