We had a wonderful 2 night stay. The scenery is stunning with walks along the river. Tanya and Sean are wonderful hosts and we immediately felt welcome. The Irish pub is delightful, and very conducive to friendly chatting. Breakfasts are amazing, with a special surprise each day. Its a beautiful, tranquil setting and very comfortable. Recommended.

My experience at Hawklee Country House was overall positive; however, there are a few areas for potential improvement. Firstly, the reservation did not include any meal provisions, necessitating that guests organize their own dining arrangements. Incorporating inclusive meal plans or, at the very least, providing breakfast options would greatly enhance convenience and contribute to a more seamless guest experience. Secondly, during the New Year’s countdown from midnight until approximately 11:00 am, we experienced a complete lack of network reception. This absence of connectivity limited our ability to share content on social media during this momentous occasion. Ensuring reliable network access, particularly during significant events, would significantly improve the stay for guests wishing to share their experiences in real time. Addressing these areas could further elevate the experience for future guests at Hawklee Country House.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful lodge on the banks of the Lions river. The accommodation was superb, food delicious and service exceptional. The attention to detail was impressive. I would highly recommend this lodge as a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Thank you Sean and Tanya for your superb hospitality.

Hawklee CH is a truly special place. The setting (by the river) is magnificent and so is the service. The attention to detail is incredible. Sean and Tanya are great hosts.

My fiancé and myself came to stay for one night, room was lovely, we sat with the owner in their little pub and watched the rugby, and had a great breakfast on Sunday morning. Will absolutely be visiting again, and for a much longer stay.
