2-Star Hotels in Houston

Hotel is updated and looks very nice. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is great and very accommodating. They provide airport shuttle and full hot breakfast. I enjoyed being close to the airport and not too far from the city also.

The smell of the disinfectant is quite strong, the breakfast is good, the stay is very convenient, the room card is a little bit bad, the front desk staff changes very fast, suitable for students living in Houston.

PRO: - close to Chinatown, so lots of good restaurants. - easy access to highway - reasonable price - full kitchen and fridge - Nice wood floor instead of carpet CON: - No pots and pans, no dinningware,glassware and utensils included in the price. Cookware is available for extra $30 and dishware for $20. No other amenities. Need to ask for extra toilet tissues. - dirty. The drawers were dirty so we lived off our suitcases. Same for the fridge drawer, so we just did not use it. - the walls are thin. You can hear the activities in the neighbor rooms and upstairs rooms. - roaches roam free at night. So we left a light on and zipped up all of our suitcases. - free weak WiFi. The internet got disconnected too often. - stinky room. When we checked in the room, there was a strong smell of cleaning solution. So we opened the window to air out the chemical smell. Once it dissipated then the true smell of the room appeared: stroooong stroooong stroooong urine smell masked under the smell of the cleaning solution We stayed for 4 nights. Too busy and tired to deal with the hassle of changing hotel. I would find another hotel first before coming back to this one.

We can find such a satisfactory hotel in the United States, so that our trip is well rested. First, the hotel is affordable and offers cooking utensils for guests to cook their own meals. There is only a $7 fare from Wal-Mart, which has a lot of food to choose from and is very cheap. Secondly, due to being in the city center, it is a ten minute walk from the famous business corridor. Shopping discounts can be refunded. Third, although the hotel cleans once a week, the bedding towels can be changed every day, and the room is very clean. Quiet in the middle of noisy. The fourth hotel staff is warm and thoughtful, although we don't know English, but there are Gu Ge translation artifacts, what problems can be fixed. The hotel is very simply furnished and in need of a refurbishment, the breakfast is very basic. Parking is free. The area is a bit spooky and remote for many. I didn't think so at all, because the hotel is in an area where there is a huge ****** line!! Young, very sexy and provocatively dressed *********** are waiting for customers everywhere, as soon as you come out of the hotel, a great experience for me, Because the girls were very interesting for me as a man traveling alone, I can only recommend men traveling alone, the selection of girls is huge!!!!

Great location if you are going to Astros or Rockets games, or the convention center. Building looks fairly new and modern. Seems like maybe they need another couple of elevators...there was frequently a line at all times of the day. Pretty reasonable price given the location. It is a shared location with a Homewood...makes for some interesting, but certainly not bad adjustments. Breakfast was one of them...served out of two locations Friday to Sunday, one location on Monday to Thursday. Breakfast was on the better side of brand standard. It appeared the previous occupants of our room had a little grudge against someone in them. They left the safe locked open (that was fixed very quickly), the fridge open, so it was hot...took overnight to get cold again, and the toilet plugged, which took 6 hours and 3 requests to get fixed. And the maintenance guy left a horrible disgusting mess in the toilet after fixing the problem. The front desk personnel seemed to be a generally unhappy group. No mention of my Lifetime Diamond, or even Diamond status, and had to ask for my Diamond perks. Housekeeping services are by request only.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Very clean rooms and excellent staff..Check in was fast also the wonderful lady that checked us went above and beyond to get us the right room so we cam see are yruck with a load on the trailer. It's a very quite place and we felt safe . Thank you so much for a wonderful , safe, clean place to stay. Oh also the breakfast is awesome..

The service attitude is not very good. We have already booked the hotel online and paid for it. The staff still has to look at my card. I don’t have a credit card, so he still refuses to let me check in. Finally, after some communication with the locals, we were allowed to check in.

Room is nice and clean. Good lighting for those who prefer a brighter room. Bed is on the soft side. They have waffle, bagel and muffin, eggs, fried rice and sausage for breakfast. There is a coffee machine too.
