Warren Hotels with Hot Tub

We stayed here while my husband is working in the area. The hotel lobby, hallways and room are clean and comfortable. The front desk staff are friendly. We only had one problem while we were here and that was on the last night of our stay. Another room was loud with multiple guests and my husband went down around 11:00 pm to ask the desk clerk to check it out because he had to work the next morning. He either didn’t check or the guest didn’t listen because it continued all through the night. I videoed the noise and went down to the desk myself at 4:00 am and told the desk clerk they were now playing loud music. He said he would take care of it immediately and he either did as asked or from exhaustion I finally fell asleep. We checked out at 11 am the next morning and my husband talked to the manager on duty and asked if there was anything she could do about a discount for the nights stay and she said no. We were there for a week and my husband will be back in the area from time to time and has always stayed here because of the location to where he is working. They really should take care of repeat guests better. But overall good stay. Hotel is in front of the police department and there is a restaurant in the parking lot that’s not too bad and is open until 10 pm serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and is affordable.

I want to give this place 5 stars because the building seems brand new and has a lot of potential. There are a lot of problems with this hotel. It seems like that housekeeping is non-existent throughout the hotel. There are crumbs, grass clippings and food debris everywhere. In the dining area, lobby, stair wells and hallway during my 3 day stay. The gym had no towels and no sanitizing wipes to clean the equipment. I called down to the front desk for sanitizing wipes and towels and the agent said “I’ll bring you towels.” The business center had non-working computers. The breakfast was out of everything at 830-900 every single day. I was here on the weekend. The lady working the kitchen was disorganized. The food stations were not cleaned, nothing was being filled, and the garbage had no liners so everyone was throwing trash in a box with no liner in the bin. I can understand one day but this was every single day. They need to hire her more help. I have never experienced this at any HOMEWOOD suites. Ok, the positives. My room during check in was very clean, it was quiet, comfortable, and the gym is very nice. The gym is very big and has everything you need for a full work-out. Free weights, elliptical, bikes, treadmills, medicine balls and a pulley station. I hope management fixes everything because this place has a lot of potential.

The front desk staff was very friendly and personable. Toyce and Latoya were so nice to my family and me as we were in town for a small gathering to celebrate my cousin’s 100th birthday. They were very accommodating to place our rooms together and also provided information for a ride to the airport for a family member. When I checked out of the hotel, an unexpected snowfall happened. I had to drive to the airport and return my rental car. I was informed that the expressway was shut down due to the snowstorm and low visibility so I asked for suggestions on how to get to the airport. Ann told me she was about to end her shift and that I could follow her as she was going in the general direction towards the airport and I could turn off when I needed to do so. Ann was an angel sent by God! The snow as so bad it took me 3 hours to get safely to the airport. I followed Ann for at least 1 and 1/2 hours. She slowed down when she could so I could catch up with her. So many cars were sliding in the snow and we drove by several accidents. It was nerve wracking but I finally made it to the airport. Ann did not have to offer to lead me, but she did and I am so thankful and grateful for her going WAY above and beyond the call of duty!

It’s disappointing to write this review about this hotel as I had high hopes given that it’s a Marriott brand and paid $170 for a night. We arrived to the hotel around 7pm. It’s in a great location with nearby restaurants and stores. The lobby was under construction, which I was okay with, and they assigned us to a third floor room. We entered the room and it’s spacious and newly remodeled. From there, things went quickly downhill. I went to use the bathroom and tried to flush the toilet. Mind you, I only peed and used a small amount of toilet paper. The toilet barely flushed. My husband contacted the front desk and was told that this was “normal” as this is a “water saving toilet” and you need to “flush it a few times” to get it to work. It seems like that would be counterproductive to having a “water saving toilet”, but I digress. We then left to go to dinner. We come back to the hotel to go swimming and use the advertised hot tub. Surprise. There’s no hot tub. The front desk informs my spouse that they are trying to remove that info from the website. We go to the indoor pool area which is just off the lobby (the pool is not heated fyi). As we left the pool area and walked out the door into the lobby area, we were greeted by a cloud of what looked to be smoke. It was not smoke, it was the front desk person sweeping up the construction materials (the tile floor was being torn up). There was plumes of dust down the main hall way, including the area where the free breakfast is served. This is obviously concerning because there’s no protection from this dust plume into the food area where people are eating and the food is prepped. Back in the hotel room, there’s a full kitchenette with a full refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave (excellent!). Well, I hope you weren’t planning on sitting at even a small bistro table to eat, because there’s no where to sit and eat a meal in your room. Well there is a desk with one chair if that works for you and your family. This is a large hotel room but poorly designed. Also, if you are looking for a luggage rack to place your luggage, you’re out of luck on that too. I do have to say that the bed was comfortable and the room had black out curtains. I used the workout room and everything is covered in a layer of dust. I did clean off two machines for them. The toilet did plug up in the morning. Couldn’t get ahold of the front desk after multiple attempts. I went to the front desk and was told that maintenance wasn’t there and was provided a plunger. We didn’t eat the free breakfast as I don’t like my food flavored with tile dust. Besides the toilet not working, the small side table was broken upon our arrival along with a non working lamp. I left notes on each of these items for housekeeping and management to address. I’m highly disappointed with our stay here and will never be back. Marriott needs to get their act together. There are better ways to manage a hotel especially when it’s under construction/repair. I

The hotel is great. There is also a free parking space. Breakfast is OK. Is the location far from the airport

I have thoughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel establishment. The maintains a clean and orderly location. It is generally very quiet, as well. I also look forward to the ‘hot’ breakfasts provided. The staff varies the egg selection on a daily basis.

I have been staying here at Red Roof Inn in Warren on 696 and Dept for an extended amount of time. Clean rooms and friendly and understanding staff, front desk is also very helpful and friendly. Would recommend for anyone that needs extended stay or just for travel

When I went to check in the agent told me that I would need to leave a 25 dollar cash deposit as they don't accept credit card deposits. I told her I didn't have 25 dollars as I don't usually carry cash as it is 2022 and pretty much everyone pays with credit card. She called the Manager and he was ok not leaving the cash deposit because I was assigned one of the 'older' rooms. At that point I said, well i'm not really liking being assigned an 'older' room because that probably means dirty and gross. She said no, it was clean just had older furnishings. So I reluctantly accepted this and went to the room. Well to no shock, it was well not just old, but pretty gross. Flies and insects flying all over especially in the bathroom and there was a dead insect on the bed. The room smelled a mix of cleaning solution and stale smoke. I checked the mattress and boxspring and although now bed bugs I could see, they were very dirty and definitely signs of previous infestations. The bathroom had holes in the walls and god knows what lurked inside. So I went to the front desk and they switched my room after I complained. It was slightly better and I guess a refreshed room but still in an overall bad state. The Staff were nice enough.. I have come to expect little from the Motel 6 brand as a whole and this motel basically reflects the company - a motel brand that is only slightly cheaper than other budget options, but with a consistently poor number of dated properties that are falling apart and dirty, more so than the others. This experience and another with the brand just turned me off it completely. Their Customer Service is poor. The staff are generally friendly, but there is little they can do because they don't get the support of Management to provide a good Customer Service experience. Motel 6 brand needs new leadership at the top - its as dated as its properties.

Hello I would like to say that I've had one of the best experience at the quality inn in Warren Michigan I must say that the manager Tana is excellent she goes out of her way to make sure customers are satisfied she makes sure that the inside and outside are is very clean she checks on her customers she's always reading you with a smile she makes sure that you're satisfied I've even seen her cleaning helping with breakfast it makes me feel good to just hear her say hello hi how you're doing do you need anything great person to talk to I enjoy being here the mattresses feel very good the cleaning staff is great also they do an excellent job in making sure that you have everything you need don't hesitate to ask because they'll get you just what you need the maintenance man Mark is great too if something's broke he'll fix it believe me he can fix anything I enjoyed my stay here I would encourage anyone if you're in Warren Michigan or anywhere in Michigan and you need a good place to stay come to the quality inn in Warren Michigan you will enjoy your stay here you will also enjoy the breakfast it's free and it's good take my advice thank you so much for making my stay so enjoyable Tana mark Manila and the cleaning staff I think you all for such an excellent job and making this hotel one of the best in Warren Michigan
