GGuest UserWonderful stay at The Oriana, Professional welcome by Tim at reception who told us about dining, breakfast options and where the best parking was for our room. The room was large and had more than we needed. The beds, pillows, towels, plentiful hot water were wonderful. We dined in the restaurant both evenings and the food was amazing. We also had breakfast both mornings and it was more than adequate. All staff we encountered were friendly and professional. We would certainly stay here again.
I recently booked 3 rooms for myself and two colleagues on a business trip to Orange. We were in recently renovated King rooms. It’s not often I am so impressed with a motel that I remember to write a review, but this place was inspiring! The room itself was very large, with quality fittings and furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. But it was the bathroom that I was most taken with, as it was beautiful, with a large free standing tub and quality brass fittings. Needless to say, everything was spotlessly clean. The motel does not have its own restaurant, but we walked next door to a delightful Italian restaurant and had a lovely evening. I would definitely stay at this motel again .
We stayed at Mercure Orange for 3 nights in a Deluxe Suite (1 Queen bed and 2 Single beds). Staff are friendly and helpful and check in/check out was easy and fast. We stayed in room 318 which was situated on the 1st floor at the front of the hotel. The room was spacious with everything you need to make your stay comfortable even a Nespresso coffee machine. The balcony was large and overlooked Byng St and shared with other rooms. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure with a waterfall head or detachable head. Housekeeping kept the room clean even on weekends. Plenty of space to hang clothes and store luggage. Breakfast was served at the cafe at the Orange Ex Services club that is accessible from the hotel. Parking is outside on the lower level, there are stairs or a lift to 1st floor. Overall a fabulous stay in Orange and Mercure will be our go to hotel when we return.
I stayed here for one night with my daughter in Executive Queen room. Great location with fabulous views across the valley. The room was spacious and the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. A decent continental breakfast was available on a self service basis all day. All in all really impressed. Great value for money.
RRussell MRoom was very clean, bright (and usually quiet). Obviously used by fly in/out mine workers e.tc so lots of early morning movement. Generally speaking guests around me were considerate of the other guests’ right not to be disturbed too early. Location is great. Just a 20 min easy walk to town centre and 10 min walk to great pub dining at Robin Hood Hotel. Want to say a big thanks to the lady who checked me in. I had stuffed up my dates but she adjusted these without penalty payment. Appreciated this show of good will. I Frequent Orange several times a year. Will stay again. Cheers, Russell
GGuest UserThe front desk is very kind. The location was very convenient and it was good. You can enjoy local cuisine. This is a hotel I definitely want to visit again.
