We had a great stay at this hotel! We arrived late and were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which was a lovely touch. Although we only stayed one night, we felt very comfortable. The room was clean and well-maintained. The only reason we changed hotels the next day was because this location is a bit far from the city, and we weren’t sure if the tour packages we had booked would include pickup from here. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

I had a lovely time at the hostel and have decided to come back even. All very modern with fingerprint access to the room so no need for keys or cards, the pool is nice, common areas are social and the kitchen is clean. The only thing that would make it go above and beyond is 1) Privacy curtains, I don’t understand why it’s not a given in Europe but privacy curtains help a lot and are relatively cheap to install 2) a dedicated storage for bags. The locker they had was quite expensive I ended up having to pay 7€ to store my stuff for 5 hours after my checkout was but hey at least it’s secure

Generator Barcelona is a stylish and modern hostel located in the trendy Eixample district, close to the city center and within walking distance of attractions like Passeig de Gràcia and Sagrada Família. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mellow Barcelona Hostel during my visit to the vibrant city of Barcelona. As a budget traveler, I was on the lookout for an affordable accommodation option that also offered comfort and a social atmosphere, and Mellow Barcelona Hostel certainly exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and multilingual staff, who made the check-in process a breeze. They were also incredibly helpful in providing me with a map of the city and giving me valuable recommendations on the best places to visit and explore in Barcelona.

The experience of the six-person female dormitory is particularly good. I met very good roommates. It is quite quiet at night. There is a kitchen on the underground first floor where you can cook, which is very convenient. There is a balcony on the sixth floor where you can rest.

Honestly I don't recommend this hostel mainly because of its location. I arrived at barcelona at night and I had to walk 20 min from the metro station to the hostel (the bus schedule might be different in day time). And you have to go uphill since it's the hill near the park guell. There's no lift in the hostel so it's not convenient at all. But the staff did helped me to carry the luggage up together. One of the bathrooms was broken when I was there and there's only one bathroom at the other floor for the whole building. The bedroom itself is clean and well air-conditioned

It was my second time here and it was great, better than the last time. Clean place, with private bathroom with two showers, two sinks and two toilets for a room of 12. Also, the great work they do, as most of the staff are disabled people.

For the price, I think it's pretty good, although I must point out that on hot days, it's not the best place to stay, as it lacked air conditioning that could meet the needs of 10 people in a 20m2 room, with a minimal AC unit that didn't work properly and two standing fans. As for the cleanliness of the bathrooms, which depends largely on the number of guests, I think that due to the number of people staying, they would need to be checked every two hours at night.

No changing of sheets, but large and small towels are available for rental for an additional fee. The upper bunk of the bunk beds is open to the ceiling. So if your roommate is the type who smells bad and gives off perfume, you will be hit directly by the smell. The windows cannot be opened, and the air conditioner is set automatically at 20-25 degrees. The washing machine is 4 euros, and the dryer is 3 euros. The toilet and shower are next to each other, and the cleaner came in while I was taking a shower, and the detergent smell made me feel sick. I could see how they were cleaning when they were using the hair dryer next to the sink, but I was put off when they started wiping the sink with the towel they had used to wipe the toilet. It may depend on the person cleaning, but... I think the frequency of cleaning around the sink is quite high. As is the case in many Spanish facilities, toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet. The shared space was open. The location is good.

Excellent location, convenient travel, clean and comfortable rooms, warm and thoughtful service, front desk staff will answer any questions and respond to any requests. Very warm-hearted. I will definitely recommend it to my friends
