Wat een geweldige locatie! Hotel, museum, bioscoop, terras... alles onder 1 dak. Direct aan het water en je loopt zo het centrum in. Watertaxi voor de deur. Boek de rondvaart van 1uur. (17euro incl. drinken). Er wordt veel uitgelegd over de historie en ze laten heel veel zien. Bij aankomst een upgrade gehad van de super lieve en attente gastheer. Boek zeker een gevangeniscel-kamer! Echt uniek. Ontbijt kleinschalig maar alles vers en zeker voldoende. Op zaterdag een grote weekmarkt in de stad tot 17.00uur. Maakt het extra gezellig. Regelmatig liggen cruiseschippen voor de deur. Bij het museum-restaurant/terras kun je lekker eten en drinken voor maatschappelijke prijzen en kijk je zo het water op en de haven in. Restaurants in de haven wel erg duur en allemaal een kleine kaart met "exclusievere gerechten". Grote marktplaats met veel kroegjes/restaurant in het centrum. Parkeren bij hotel 10euro voor 2 dagen. Zelden zo genoten van een verblijf en ik kan geen min-puntjes verzinnen. TOP!

De locatie is fantastisch en het was er schoon. Mooi uitzicht op het water. Het hotel viel ontzettend tegen. Het was bloedheet in de kamer, de bedden waren niet fijn, de kamer erg klein, het was erg gehorig en wanneer er op de gang gelopen werd, voelden wij de trillingen in bed. De faciliteiten in de kamer waren summier. De klantvriendelijk van de medewerker was ver te zoeken. Wij komen hier niet meer terug.

De locatie van het hotel is prachtig. De ervaring om een gevangenis(hotel)deur te openen is hilarisch. De celkamer, 20 m3, is ruim genoeg met tv, koelkastje, koffie apparaatje en waterkoker. In de badkamer zou een douchescherm fijn zijn. Nu wordt de hele badkamervloer nat. Een badmat ontbreekt. Het bed, 140x200, vond ik een afknapper. Veel te klein voor een hotel. Dit staat niet vermeld in de beschrijving. Het ontbijt was prima. Compact opgesteld maar was voldoende.

Simpel hotel.
Had meer verwacht dat ik de sfeer van een gevangenis weer zou zien. Maar had een kleine kamer op zolder.
Matig ontbijt.
Wel mooie locatie. Op loopafstand veel kroegjes en restaurantjes.
