Gem of a hotel
The hotel is in a quiet area just outside Groningen. Easy to reach by car and if you wish to visit the city centre the P+R is convenient. Car parking is free and plentiful. Our room had a balcony and views over the countryside. The room itself was spacious and spotless. The reception staff were polite friendly and knowledgeable. We had dinner on both nights of our stay in the restaurant which was in my opinion excellent. It offered a wide variety of dishes for a very reasonable cost. Again the staff were top class. If I am in the area again this hotel will be my go to.

Rough.. nothing in room worked... no heating / ac or the fake fire... all broken.

Late stopover on way to ferry, got reduced rate for room so worth it, room very spacious with bath and separate shower, tea coffee facilities and complimentary water in fridge, excellent dinner in restaurant and breakfast superb, good stop over

No, I don't give 5 stars because this is a hotel with an exceptional high quality. I give a 5 star rating because this hotel gives you value for money. A nice clean hotel room with a Nespresso coffee maker, tea kettle, ironing gear, multiple kind of cushions, working WIFI and clean fresh rooms. The diner was excellent with big desserts. Friendly staff. And the breakfast was just phenomenal.
