I got my flight delayed and missed my connecting flight. Ended up to the beauty pf Hawaii and this hotel. My stay was amazing! Beyond! The rooms are spacious and they gave me the most amazing view and corner room. Everything is within your footsteps! Every staff is lovely and helpful! The Guy Glenn was so helpful and the one responsible in my ridonkulously amazing room!

Fun for the kids and family. Great infinity pool. They should have more pool side service than going to the restaurant ordering. Service could be a bit friendlier but overall great. Rooms are a little outdated. Lobby is nice and location is great!

So....got a great rate on Travelzoo voucher for 4 nights. This hotel has been remodeled and is still in process of completing some work in common areas. Starbucks opened when I was there, and Monkeypod will open in the future. Staff was fabulous! No complaints there. I was able to check in early and got a partial ocean view on floor 11. Room was spotless. My only complaint, and it's a big one for me, is the soundproofing. I should say lack of it! Doors are HEAVY and each open and shut on the floor nearby is a shock to the sleeper. Also, the wind whistled and the band and traffic comes right in through slider to balcony. The band stops at 9, so that was no problem, and very nice. But....I hated the door slams and other interior noises. If you are a light sleeper, I don't think you will enjoy yourself. I wore ear plugs. Location is superb! It really can't be beat. Pool is OK. The jacuzzi was kind of icky. One being closed the entire time, the other kind of grey and the one attached to the pool generally full of kids. No jacuzzi for me. Towels and loungers were readily available. No problems there. We did have a problem at restaurant/ bar with what we think was bad turkey or mayo on a club. My grandson and I got sick within a couple hours. Unfortunately for the maintenance staff there was some cleaning up to do in the bathroom. The staff responded immediately and were so nice about it. I cannot thank them enough. However, when I reported this to the restaurant manager in the morning I was not totally happy with his response. All in all, I would stay there again for what I paid for it.

I booked this hotel three times between Ctrip and Qunar, because the price dropped the closer I got. The location of the hotel is indeed good, the room is large, the balcony has a good view, and it is very comfortable to use. Although the hotel is large, the elevator is very fast, and getting in and out is not as troublesome as some reviews said. The only inconvenience was that I checked out of the room that day, stored my luggage and went shopping. When I came back, I found that on the check-in floor on the second floor, all toilets required swiping a room card to enter, OMG. Later, I went to the change room where the third-floor swimming pool is located. There is no need to swipe the room card there.
It’s very close to Marugame Udon, a popular udon restaurant. The “Mai*” matcha ice cream next to it is also good. You can try the purple potato balls in Duke Lane. The local poke bowl is worth a try.

Location is super good, convenient to walk to anywhere in Waikiki. Valet parking staffs are great and kind of Japanese-style friendly, however the reception desk staff seemed always busy. Room is small and has a smell, maybe due to the oldness of the air conditioning and the building. You need to open the windows to ventilation every day. But the shower is incredibly good, like a hotel bathroom in Japan. Good and powerful water stream, feels like a waterfall and a hot spring. The shower is a huge plus, kind of the best in the US.

There was an issue that could have happened at any hotel, no matter how well kept or clean so I won’t write about that nor is it the reason for the poor score. It was how they addressed the situation or better said, how they failed to. I notified them of the issue and they couldn’t move me they said but they would call me the next day to try to move me. They didn’t call, I had to. They couldn’t move me still. I had to leave the hotel. A week into my two week stay. The front desk apologized but offered me no assistance in moving hotels. They said a manager would call to apologize. No manager called me. I called them and talked to a front desk supervisor, Mike. He said he would look into it and would call me back. He didn’t. I sent Mike a message. He didn’t return the call. I called again about couple weeks later as to talk to the hotel manager. Left a message on a voice mail. And guess what? They didn’t call me back. I called again and left a message on the general managers voice. The manager had a staffer, who was a former manager, call me. Nice enough, heard me out. He agreed with me that being ignored never feels good and they shouldn’t have done it. He offered me 25k points which I took to get off the phone. Hilton Diamond Desk wrote me and asked how I felt about the resolution. I told them I still feel bad because well, no one wants to be made to feel like a chump and ignored. They wrote back and literally only wrote back they they were sorry I was I unhappy. I’m a lifetime diamond and the first time ever complaining. I feel like when I needed assistance, this hotel really let me down. Don’t stay here not because the hotel isn’t ok enough. It because if something goes wrong they won’t help you. And if the hotel isn’t reading this, please don’t even respond with something like you are sorry because I don’t think you really are. Else it wouldn’t have come to this.

Originally, I saw the recommendation from Kevin, a teacher from Taiwan, but I don't know if his hotel has changed management or what. We stayed there for seven consecutive days with children and the elderly. First of all, the location is good, but it's not directly next to the sea and you have to walk a little. Secondly, he started to make things difficult for us from the check-in. We arrived after 12 o'clock, and he insisted that the room was not ready unless I paid more than 250 dollars a day to check in immediately. So we chose to wait first, and the babies were not feeling well due to jet lag at 2 o'clock. I asked him if I could check in early with a tip. In fact, it was already past 2 o'clock, and he agreed to let us check in. Then there was the most terrible breakfast problem. I chose breakfast included on Ctrip, but after arriving, I was handed a bill every day for me to sign. I said I didn't understand it and no one explained it to me. I called Ctrip, but I didn't get a good response. Then on the third day, the dark-skinned waitress who was in charge of ushering people into the inyo cafe started to roll her eyes at us, just because the child didn't understand English and went in early. On the fourth day, she rolled her eyes and ignored me when I talked to her, which led me to complain to their front desk. Because I can speak Japanese, I had a complete communication with a Japanese front desk. But the hotel didn't apologize at all. In the following days, we didn't want her to disgust us again, so we didn't go down. As a result, we asked them to bring up two of our included breakfasts. They thought that this was called à la carte room service. It was speechless. Moreover, the food in the breakfast room was quite simple, and there were occasional typhoons, and the food was full of dust. Alas, I hope you will be careful when choosing, or just don't go to their breakfast.

- The hotel's location and surroundings are very good, such as location and access to the beach
- Good daily room cleanliness.
- Breakfast is not available, so you have to go out every time or buy takeout food to solve it.
- Parking fee is charged daily (one day fee is charged for late afternoon arrival and early departure),
- At the time of hotel reservation, we informed that it was a trip to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, but there was no congratulatory message or consideration at all.

Don’t book a room cheaply!
*Environmental location, next to Wakiki Beach and on the main road, it is very convenient to be connected in all directions. Convenience stores and restaurants, trolly stations, public beaches, and zoos are all very close and within walking distance.
*Room facilities, the hotel has a history of a hundred years, so it is very stylish, but the city view room in the Diamond Building is so bad! ! ! ! Not as good as the new 3 star hotel rooms. (Pictured below are the benefits of room upgrade with the Marriott Platinum Card. I booked the cheapest room, but it turned out that booking through a third party did not provide any membership benefits. In the Maui fire, the hotel was full, and I wanted to upgrade temporarily but there was no room). The room is old, with an area of less than 20 square meters. Morning and night, I am woken up either by cars on the road or by the phone in the next room. A very bad experience!
* Service, remind the guests to check the bill carefully. After staying for 5 nights, the wrong bill was charged on 4 days. They checked it out one by one when they checked out, and the wrong money was refunded after 4 days.
In short, don't try to be cheap when booking a room. The small and shabby room type is not as good as staying in Hyatt or Marriott. The price/performance ratio is too low!

LLuLu99Don’t expect much apart from the location.
They should not call their kids paddling pool as a swimming pool, charging resort fee for just providing chairs and umbrella for you to take them all the way, 10mins of walk to a public beach.

I did a lot of research before I booked. First time in hawaii and wanted to save on our stay since we wanted to spend our money on experiences versus accommodations. This hotel is in a great location: close to restaurants and the main street of waikiki. We did not go to beach from there since we rented a car and spent our beach time in other areas that were less crowded. Pros: great staff, comfy bed, cool atmosphere, water refill station, restaurant on site, free coffee. Cons: it's a very popular hotel that hosts weekly events so it can get loud in the afternoon and early evening by the pool and you will hear it from your room. Noise always stopped by 9 or 10... just keep that in mind. Hotel has a younger vibe and is great for social media. Pros: dogs! Cons: dogs! Lol you will hear them bark occasionally. I would definitely stay here again

JJUANJapanese hotel, we arrived late and helped me upgrade to the suite. The house is large enough to cook. There is a swimming pool. At night the water is a bit cold. You can soak in the heated swimming pool. When booking, it is stated that there is no resort fee. Late in Hawaii is very cheap. After we check out, we can see that the price has risen to more than 1,000 a night.

GGuest UserThe room is reasonably designed and is a suite with two bedrooms inside and outside, suitable for family travel. Open kitchen, large dining table, complete pots and pans, clean and organized. The sea view room on the 27th floor has a wide view and good sound insulation effect. This was a very satisfying stay, a perfect ending. When I got into the elevator, I met a couple with five children. I guess adding an extra bed, a matching double sofa bed and a 1.8-meter large bed would be very comfortable. You can go to a Japanese-run supermarket in 10 minutes, which offers good quality and low prices. You can get discounts on fruits and vegetables if you enter your passport. There is a bar on the first floor with singers, as shown in the picture below. Five minutes walk to the beach.

We are a family of four staying for seven nights. Well appointed apartment with free guest laundry on the same level which was so convenient (level 11). Overlooked “Gillian’s” wharf./jetty. Great coffee across the road (lapperts). A very pleasant stay

GGuest UserThis hotel is about a 10 min walking distance to the beach. Located in a central area near the Waikiki strip that has a Las Vegas strip feel (busy, crowded). A lot of stores and restaurants within walking distance. Food is expensive overall in the area. Hotel itself has a restaurant inside. Beautiful lobby area that includes a community microwave and a soda stream machine. They give you a sample of Dole pineapple frozen yogurt at check in. Good customer service, friendly staff. Damien, our valet guy was great! $45 valet parking daily but $30 dollar/day parking option across the street behind Ross. Queen room was cute, colorful but a bit smaller than expected. Carpet and bathroom outdated but has a balcony. No microwave in the room but snacks and kettle for hot water, as well as tea. Big closet for your clothes a plus. TV has cable channels but no premiums. Housekeeping good with bringing towels daily. Can get beach towels from front desk. Pool and sitting area on roof is nice. Overall we had a good experience and the hotel is cute and practical.

We stayed in room 911. The place was clean and tidy. Exceptional view of the Ocean and Diamond head. Front desk staff did an outstanding job. Special Kudos to Jonathan. Mark Howard the property manager kept in contact with us throughout the 2 week stay. Great communication and was insuring we were taken care of. No resort fees and parking was only 30 dollars a day. Small garage but worked just fine. Just a block to the beach and perfect location. I would definitely stay here again. No bugs. woohoo.... It is an older property but is in very good condition and well maintained / clean. Get a car and explore the island.
