My review of the Hilton Grand Islander, Honolulu. This is one of the condo buildings on the property. We had the 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. It also had 2 balconies. This was a beautiful unit. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms well-appointed and not cramped. Everything was clean and well maintained, including the kitchen. It was stocked with plates, silverware, cups, glasses, and cooking utensils. Counter seating for 4. The housekeeping staff was excellent. They came in every day. They did the standard things like fresh towels, make beds etc. They also put any used dishes, cups, glasses etc in the dishwasher and ran it. They also made sure you had extra dishwasher soap, extra dish sink soap, and laundry detergent for the washing machine in the unit. (Stack washer/dryer). We greatly over packed, because with this washer/dryer unit, we were able to do several loads and did not need near as much clothing as we thought. Also, this property has several bars and restaurants. In all of these, we were comfortable in shorts and tee shirts, or collared polo shirts. We also went to several off-site restaurants and all were within a 15 minute walk. Parking on site is expensive! Just over $70.00 a day. We were there for 10 days. We found that across the street from our building was the Hale Koa Hotel parking garage. In addition to being a military hotel, they also rent parking (in and out with a key card) for the month for $235.00. We purchased the month package and saved over $450.00. There is a nice fireworks show every Friday night that starts at 7:45pm and runs about 10 minutes. Between the pools, the lagoon, and the beach front, you can change your scenery daily. There are two ABC stores in the complex where you can buy whatever you need, from groceries to liquor to clothing! We were there for 10 days, but could have comfortably stayed there a month!

This vacation was probably one of my top 3. The resort was absolutely beautiful, clean, and very accommodating to our each and every request. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. There is no reason to even leave the resort if you don't want to, as it offers pretty much anything you would need while there.
