This is one’s of my best staying places in Hongkong and the most amazing thing is the staff really so helpful

A good location very walkable lots of shopping and dinning options around.

It was normal stay,so far so good, the basic needs are all prepared, have laundry also

The Mongkok Holiday Inn Express is a short walk down Dundas Street from the Yau Ma Tei metro -- f you have heavy suitcases, you are better off getting a taxi from the Kowloon Airport Express station. I moved here because the prices at the Golden Mile Holiday Inn were climbing through the roof over Christmas, and the Mongkok Holiday Inn was almost half the price. Very friendly and accommodating staff, who looked after my luggage through several comings and goings, saving me almost another £100 on storage fees. Breakfast is a choice from a set menu rather than a buffet, but it was nice enough. I'll definitely stay here again.... in fact, I will stay here again the day after tomorrow!

Overall is good. Location wise is a little far from train but still ok. All staff very well manners and smile all the time.

The location is very convenient and easy to access to MTR Yau Ma Tei by walking about 500m. For the breakfast is served by ala carte based. The only disadvantage is the room sound proof not so good.

Great central location, as previous reviewers have mentioned, and I should have checked. There is a strong musty smell from the carpets which may be due to the humid climates of HongKong. I’m unsure whether this is the same for many hotels in HongKong. Beware of the listed $500hkd deposit, I was charged a $1000 deposit and was told it was a $500 per day fee up to $1000, unlike what was listed on trip.com which mentions the deposit being per room. Other than this, service was great.

Location is good, room is clean but they dont give you water. Each floor has water box, you must fill your jar

The facilities are quite dated & need updates, as the carpet smells. It seems that hk, given its humanity, should not use carpet to refurbish the floor. The breakfast is not very attractive but worth having…

All were okay apart from breakfast which did not meet my expectations among other holiday inn hotels.

Very central for mong kok and yau ma tei, minutes from the numerous eateries found in kowloon. Breakfast sorry was the need to improve for us. no brown bread in 3 days, ran out of juices on the 2nd day. Looked poorly organised. Hk team brilliant, reception tea. Brilliant. Room was larger than average hk hotel bedroom.
