AAshan SOn our juorny to tangalle we saty kalindu residence tangalletangalle it was locates walking distance to beach and city . But this is almost eco village . Around the hotel there lota of trees and environment . Birds are singing early inthe morning . I enjoyed very much

What a wonderful spot! Towards the end of Marakolliya Beach near to the turtle feeding area and a short tuk tuk ride from the main drag of Tangalle lies the Waves Chalets. Small and peaceful with the constant sound of waves and right on the beach (breakfast and dinner was had on a picnic table in sight of the sea) this little gem is the perfect spot for some R&R. Mahesh and his team are the perfect hosts and the owner speaks excellent English. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the towels and bedding smell nice, AC cools the rooms down and while the water is cool because it’s so warm it never seems cold. The food was exceptionally tasty and catered to us being vegetarian. The mattress on my bed was also probably one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on! Would definitely come and stay again.
