"We stayed at Hotel Sunshine in June24. The location of the hotel is great. Its about 3 kms from the Pahalgam market, a beautiful waterfall flows from right in front of the property’s garden, so you can enjoy your food and nice hot cup of tea sitting in the garden and hearing the beautiful sound of the waterfall. The staff is extremely hospitable and will genuinely look at what you need. Would like to specially mention Javed bhai (property’s owner) who also took out time to take us to the market when we wanted to have the best coffee in Pahalgam and also took us to genuine shops for shopping (being with a local helped us get fair rates). They were sweet enough to arrange for a 2 wheeler for us when we wanted to visit the market. The rooms were decent- considering construction/ repair is restricted in Pahalgam. But the property is supposed to become even better is what the owner explained to us by the end of 2024. Cleanliness is something that we feel can be better. Rest all good."

GGuest UserGood experience. This place is more like a homestay. The owner is warm & welcoming. It is located in the upper market of pahalgam in a bylane. The view from the room was good. They need to arrange for good heating equipment in winter time. We were provided with a small room heater which was enough for us. In house food service is not there but there are many hotels and restaurants just 2 min walk away. It was absolutely safe as my wife and i were out till late enjoying the winter breeze and watching the spectacular mountain view in the moonlight. I would call it a good budget stay option in pahalgam as hotels are pretty expensive. Overall a 3. 5 out of 5.

GGuest UserThe property is ideally situated next to the lidder river with half rooms overlooking the river. The property has a lush green lawn hugging the river where meals can be served with bonfire facility (ofcourse on payment) although it has a small dining room too in case the weather packs up outside. The staff is very helpful, cooperative & friendly especially zahoor who is ever ready to make your stay memorable. The cook- adil makes lovely home made food as desired- stuffed parathas, dal, phulka, pane-er butter masala, etc, etc. Overall an amazing experience and value for money- highly recommended.
