Very Good
NnaomimI4330XVGreat little find this place! In an ideal spot, easy to find. Surrounded by loads of local shops plus the usual Aldi,Poundland,B&M Iceland’s etc. the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was spot on! A selection of cereal toast and fruit with all the condiments followed by a full English which was lovely! The host was very friendly and very helpful. Also free parking. We go on holiday twice yearly and if flying from Heathrow will definitely look this place up first
FF00dfanatic03Stayed here for two nights, one week apart as we were forced to overnight stop to catch connecting flights. Yes, it is basic but it was clean, warm and well decorated. The owner was welcoming and very helpful, advising us to book a taxi back to T5 for the following morning as it was the same price as the bus. I initially made an error on the second booking, requesting the wrong night and it was quickly rectified with no penalty. I would be more than happy to stay here again.
GGuest UserWhat a shocking experience! We had a late flight in from Heathrow and so this room was booked on our behalf. The room itself seems passable on arrival but then the drama unfolded. The room was hot yet if one opened a window the noise emanating from outside was unbearable. Throughout the night an electric noise (washing machine?) emanated through the room continuously. The smell was overpowering - the fridge provided had not been opened or plugged in for ages. Of the 4 plugpoints in the room one had been boarded up, the second had a television and kettle plugged in, the third was loose in the wall and the switch didn't work rendering one in working order. The bathroom was tiny as well as dirty, the door couldn't close properly as the door frame was broken. The shower had no drain cover and a smell was emanating from there. The toilet had no flusher, we had to insert our fingers into the hole to press a pin!The restaurant was closing as we arrived and no assistance was provided in terms of where we could get a late night meal. All in all a dreadful experience, one which will not happen again. Sleeping at the airport would have been more preferable.
GGuest UserThe room was a good size, clean and airy, I felt very welcome and the manager explained everything well, I especially enjoyed the coffee in my room and it was enough to make my stay more enjoyable as I am a big coffee fan, would recommend this hotel very much !!!
