This condo is on the first floor and provides very easy access to the famous Mammoth Mountain. Being on the first floor is a great amenity because after a hard day of skiing, just walk right into the front door with no need to get on an elevator with all your gear. Walk through the entry door of the condo and be greeted by a living room (including a sofa with a pull out full bed & 60 inch tv with sound bar), dinning area with seating for six, and a gourmet kitchen with bar seating for three. There are three bedrooms; two bedrooms on the south side of the condo (primary with king bed & guest room/office with two twin beds), on the north side of the condo you will find the 3rd guest bedroom (queen) and guest bathroom. Enjoy 2 balconies in the condo, one from the living room and one off of the primary bedroom. Both balconies have wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Another great reason that this condo stands out is that right out of the entry door the condo joins a beautiful great room, hot tub, heated pool, ice machine, vending machines, and coin operated laundry room. During the summer enjoy the community BBQs and lay out by the pool. During the summer there are many great activities and that includes a 5 minutes drive to Sierra Star golf course, a championship 18 hole course that winds through the pine trees and provides a beautiful mountain setting. In the summer enjoy world class hiking, mountain biking, fishing, fly fishing kayaking, and so much more! In the winter enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. Amazing suite in the Village Lodge resort. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath second floor unit with balcony overlooking the shops and restaurants on Minaret Road (Hwy 203) in the heart of the Village at Mammoth. The Village at Mammoth has everything you need for every season.One of the bedrooms is an en suite (private bathroom). The unit accommodates up to 8 people in your choice of 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full and an additional pullout queen sofa in living room. The suite is just steps away to winter/summer activities, restaurants, shops and more. Some suites in the village claim to be ski in/ski out but, here it is more like ride the gondola out and ski back. Once you arrive in the underground parking you never need to drive again. We have one parking pass available in the unit once you check-in. Other nearby paid parking is available as well.The Village gondola is only a few steps away or you can conveniently walk across the street to the free shuttle stop before the Main Lodge. In the summer, you can watch concerts, fireworks, or other shows in the Main Village Square. Our balcony looks over Minaret Road so there's always good people watching. There are are also activities, festivals, restaurants, shops, biking, hiking, horseback, water activities and more. The suite has a large kitchen with everything you need to feel at home. There is a general store on the first floor with groceries, alcohol and necessities if you forget anything for your trip. Price of unit includes all the resort amenities including Free Village Wifi, heated resort pool, 3 hot tubs, 3 outdoor fire rings, and 3 fitness centers. Our building (White Mountain Lodge) also has a private hot tub and workout room for guests. The entire building is handicap accessible and we are near the elevator so it is very easy to get too and from your vehicle or the gondola!The suite is a few steps from Vida Coffee serving some of the best coffee and treats on the mountain. It just doesn't get any more convenient than this. They have great breakfast items and pastries to fuel you up for the day.The suite includes a reverse osmosis water filtration system in the kitchen. That means no lugging up cases of drinking water during your stay. Most suites only have highly chlorinated tap water available, purified drinking water is an absolute must at 8,000 feet. Makes much better coffee too!The suite is located in the heart of the village (above the New York Deli Restaurant) so you can be part of just about everything. That does mean a little more noise on the weekends and holidays, but that's Mammoth Village. Our nicely furnished and decorated condo has a beautiful view of the Sherwin Mountains from the living room and its balcony and natural landscape from its bedroom. It has one bedroom with a king size bed with a walk-in closet and two single sleeper sofas in the living room. The living room has a wood burning EPA approved fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped. The condo has a 40' Flat Screen TV/DVD/CD in living area. There are also private access high speed wi-fi. premium cable, and an additional Flat Screen TV/DVD in the king bedroom. Guests have access to a newer pool (operating in the Summer) and jacuzzi and laundry facilities. There are about 35 steps to get to condo and its view. It also comes with a single enclosed car garage plus one first come first serve outside parking. There are barbques and tables located in the common area. Bigwood is nestled among big pine trees and located in a quiet walk neighborhood in town of Mammoth Lakes.
