Large Outdoor shower among the swaying palms and a brand new deck with a large awning to enable you to enjoy outdoor seating in the sun or rain. Large, lush backyard with tall, graceful palms, mature mango and avocado trees, jasmine, honeysuckle and bougainvillea. Balmy breeze throughout most of the year due to close proximity to the ocean. It is extremely safe - especially with a charming police officer living next to us! Tropical island look with lush, dense greenery, tall royal palms, exotic fruit trees, perfumed flowers and stupendous sunrises and sunsets all a few blocks from the glorious beach with the intra coastal canals! Hollywood is one of the top holiday destinations in the United States, and a 4 hour drive from Orlando which has the Hollywood studios and Disney World. We are a 15 minute drive from the Fort Lauderdale International airport and a 30 drive from the Miami International airport. A drive of 1.5 hours south leads you to the Florida keys where you can snorkel. The large supermarket Publix is located downtown. Walmart is a short drive away. There is also a convenience store – George’s market – by the beach. We have two spots for guest parking in our front yard. Please do not park for more than two hours on the street as your car will be towed! And please do not park in front of the houses of any of our neighbors. Please Note: The City of Hollywood prohibits loud parties, boisterous gatherings and excessive noise. We are very respectful of the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. We kindly request that you also show our neighbors the same respect. We have some interesting wildlife in the backyard – lizards, iguanas, frogs and birds. Please respect them – they keep the bugs away! The pool and lawn need to be maintained, so someone will be coming in a couple of times a week to work outside on the pool for half an hour or so each time and the lawn once in 2 weeks.
