After booking a steak shop next door, I found this place when I looked for an inn to enjoy Koshu wine anyway and booked here. Did you find out later? It was like a series with this steak shop. I was wondering what kind of inn it was, but there was a hot spring and it was also used in a family bath, and the hot spring itself was very good with good quality. Inside is an inn decorated with jazz records, with a nice bar and restaurant atmosphere, and a terrace that has become a winter garden. There is a museum nearby and other sightseeing spots are nearby, so I thought it would be good. I wanted to use it again if I had the opportunity.

◾️Meals We had breakfast and dinner at Wai Wai Grill. I heard it's a central kitchen system, but the menu was rich and delicious. The vegetables (especially tomatoes), peach mint juice, waffles, yogurt cream, and soft serve ice cream were especially delicious. When you are given a paid drink menu at Wai Wai Grill for dinner, which one will you choose? I was asked. The children aren't very fond of carbonated drinks or unusual juices, but if that's all they have, they choose a drink. The grape juice I ordered was delicious, but there were a lot of free drinks available, and I liked the juice more, so I wish I had been informed first that there would also be free drinks. If I had known, I wouldn't have forced my child to order a paid drink. Also, the shops on Piman Street are closing too early. I didn't make a reservation at Wai Wai Grill for dinner on the second day because I thought it would be boring, but I thought that if someone I didn't know came to stay during the busy season, I would be a refugee for dinner. Is it possible to at least make the last order at 20:00? ◾️Building I stayed in the residence building. I paid a reasonable amount of money, but the dust in the corner of the indoor stairs was collected and white, the red carpet had white stains, the tiles in the bathroom were peeling and dirty, and the window sash was also... Highly recommended. Even in the wax pool, the area around the door from the women's changing room to the pool is not well-cleaned, there is noticeable dust in the changing room, and I am concerned about rust, dirt, and peeling paint on the doors, walls, and floor. The floor of the pool itself was peeling and dirty, and the floats we rented were dirty, so it was a mess. I think it's difficult to keep it clean because it's around water, but I didn't want to go in there if I didn't have children. The washing area in the indoor bath at Mokumoku-no-Yu was also very old and I didn't feel comfortable taking a bath at all. It can't be helped that there are insects, but I would like something to be done about the deterioration. I'm paying a decent amount of money... ◾️Service When I went to HOSHINOYA Fuji, the service and hospitality were very good, and I want to go there again! I should have stayed the night! I thought. There was a wine party going on so I went there, but adults and children only had 2-3 sips of wine or juice and were left standing. Children get bored while listening to stories. I wish I had just bought the wine myself instead of going all the way. I think Hoshinoya Fuji would have been able to do tastings to compare drinks and pair nuts and cheese. The system where you can sample wine and purchase mini bottles at the book cafe was very nice! Should we push this further? ◾️Activity The aerial walk in the forest was really great! ◾️Overall I was concerned about the aging of the building, the lack of cleaning, the feeling that the building itself had been neglected, and the difficulty of using Piman Street, so I decided not to go there again. I think it's about time for a complete renovation.

We stayed at Keyforest for two nights, as part of a trip to the nearby Hakushu distillery. We did not know what to expect, as this was our first foray outside the major cities in Japan. To our very pleasant surprise, this turned out to be one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in some really great ones). The rooms were gorgeous and big, with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed the on-site whiskey bar. The staff was very accommodating; when we wanted a different restaurant for our second night, they just drove us there and back. And we loved the private hot springs / spa area, maybe three minutes walk from the hotel itself. Then there's the Keith Haring Museum next door - took us about 30 minutes to go through, with a lot of cool artwork. Super great experience, we would love to go back!

I always use it for the Yatsugatake Endurance Tournament held at the next Equestrian Stadium. It's helpful because you can walk early in the morning. It is a pension with a cat. ❗ irresistible for cat lovers.

The indoor bath was not a hot spring, but I was a little worried about the smell of karuki (I didn't feel it in the bath the next morning). There was cold water in the washroom area of each dressing room, which made my throat moist after taking a bath. Dinner was a Western course this time. For wine bottles, foreign house wine was about 3500 yen. It was French wine. The Western course is quite healthy with plenty of vegetables. The apple salad is elaborate with dry apples, raw sliced apples, boiled apples ３ seeds, sweet roasted nuts and bacon, but no dressing or olive oil is used. It was unique. The fish dish was a grilled fish with cod or something, and it was bolsich tailored, but I thought it might have been better to just grill it as it was. The beautiful color and mysterious texture of the refreshing malo's granite, meat dishes and desserts were delicious. One thing that was unfortunate was that when I asked for cold, the male staff who seemed to be motivated did not bring it forever, and it was passed rather than forgetting. I understood it by my attitude, so I should have asked a different person quickly. Breakfast was Japanese, but it's well balanced. The meal here is not heavy, not too little or too much, and it is well balanced. I checked out at 11 o'clock, so I took a walk in the garden. The area around the lake was about 10 minutes even if I went slowly, and the mountains 々 and the autumn leaves that reflected in the sunny autumn were beautiful. This time, the arrival day was also a sunny autumn day, so I participated in the starry sky appreciation party. After receiving an explanation of the autumn stars for about 10 minutes in the hall, go to the pitch-black outdoors with a lantern in one hand and admire the starry sky. I could still see the Milky Way, Jupiter and Red Saturn. At the starry sky appreciation party, thick coats and downs are not rented, so it is recommended that those who participate in the fall or those who participate warmly. In addition, the actual time to see the stars is less than 20 minutes. Participation is free and it is held 4 times at night, so it is a recommended event. This time as well, it was a memorable stay.
