We had a nice stay at the hotel. The location is great, minutes away from shopping malls and restaurants. The room was very clean and well-equipped, but it was very hot and the air conditioner is switched off in the winter… however the staff did everything they could to accommodate us and with the windows open it turned out to be fine.

Bayan Tara Hotel in Hohhot offers a convenient location near public transport and shopping areas. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though the beds are a bit firm. Staff are polite but have limited English. Some areas have a slight smoke smell, but overall, it's a good budget-friendly option for a short stay.

Had problem with breakfast. Had booked it in the hotel cafeteria days before but on the last day the cafeteria was not working. Staff tried to get us breakfast from the in-house hot pot restaurant but it was not working too. Since we had a flight early we had to leave for the airport without eating anything. Otherwise pretty good location and had more than enough amenities. It is only 10min walk from the main shopping square and 20min walk from Manduhai garden.

There is a free coffee machine in the lobby on the first floor of the hotel for self-service. There is also a laundry room and gym on the second floor. The rooms are also very clean. The hotel staff are also very enthusiastic and the service is very thoughtful. They even helped me borrow two pencils when I checked out.

The quilt cover and pillowcase were not white. Because I was too tired, I slept for a night. I hope the hygiene quality can be improved.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations. The lady at the front desk was very beautiful when I entered the lobby. The service was very good, which made me feel like I was at home. There was also a dedicated service butler who accompanied me throughout the whole process, as well as every smile from the housekeeping lady. The breakfast was also very rich with special delicacies. I like this hotel very much. I will choose it again if I travel with my children next time!
