Hohhot Xincheng District Hotels

I primarily chose this hotel for its revolving restaurant on the top floor. It seemed quite busy with many guests. The standard room, typical of other Hampton by Hilton properties, was rather small, but the cleanliness was satisfactory. Its location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from General's Mansion. However, this particular location meant that taking a taxi often involved some traffic congestion. The entrance is right under an overpass, and the roads nearby are narrow, sometimes requiring a detour, which wasn't particularly convenient. Breakfast offered a decent variety, though it wasn't overly lavish. The breakfast area was very crowded; I suspect many shared my idea of enjoying the view from the revolving restaurant while eating. But when it's that crowded, the 'scenery' quickly became the other guests! My kids found it quite exciting on the first day, but by the second day, the novelty had worn off. Overall, I was satisfied. The service was excellent; the front desk staff kindly froze some dairy products for us in their fridge, and they were very patient when I needed to retrieve them for my child midway through our stay. The room rate was quite reasonable and offered good value for the overall experience. A quick heads-up: there are two Hilton hotels in Hohhot, so make sure you don't go to the wrong one. I actually had an experience where I hailed a taxi and just said 'Hilton,' which took me directly to the other property. I didn't pay much attention at first, but the further we drove, the more I realized something was wrong, and sure enough, upon arrival, I confirmed it was the wrong hotel, haha.

The room was a bit small, not as spacious as it appeared in the pictures. The hairdryer in the room kept automatically cutting out. I had to dry my hair in stages, waiting several minutes each time it shut off before I could resume. On the plus side, the breakfast was quite generous, and they offered a shuttle service. I wasn't aware of this when I arrived and ended up taking a taxi from the airport. For my departure, I booked the service with the hotel the night before. The hotel is very close to the East Station, just a two or three-minute drive away.

The room was very clean, and the service was excellent. The only minor point was that the breakfast restaurant could get a bit crowded in the mornings. However, the buffet breakfast offered a great variety, probably around twenty different dishes. The mix of meat and vegetarian options was just to my liking, even though I didn't take any pictures. The location is incredibly convenient for transportation. Shared bikes are readily available right outside, and there's a bus stop too. It was very easy to get to places like Zhenhua Plaza, Dazhao Temple, and Princess Mansion. It's also just over 400 meters from the train station. The nights were very quiet, so I wasn't woken up by any traffic noise. The outstanding service was definitely what I appreciated most. The room also had excellent natural light, and the hot water for showers was available 24/7 with a very stable temperature.

The room was very comfortable and modern, as well as spacious. The only downside was that car parking and taxi stop. The service couldn't book us a taxi, so we had to pick it from the road with our luggages.

The room was excellent, and breakfast was provided. The surrounding area is very lively, with abundant dining, entertainment, and shopping options. It's truly a bustling downtown hub, boasting a wide array of malls, shopping centers, and restaurants. Free parking is a plus. I found many restaurants right below the hotel; the barbecue place was particularly fantastic, and their shaomai were delicious! When I extended my stay for a second night, I even received a room upgrade and a discount.

It took me about 10 minutes to walk from Hohhot East Railway Station (north exit), and I found the hotel easily without any problem. Check-in was quick and easy, and then I had a great rest in the well-equipped and comfortable room. Breakfast the next morning was good (although not quite as good as some other similar hotels), and then check-out was fast and easy. It was then just a 5-minute taxi ride to the Hohhot International Airport. I’d certainly stay here again!

However, on rainy days, some small, harmless bugs (not cockroaches) might occasionally crawl in, but the staff are very responsive and will remove them promptly if notified. There's also occasional airplane noise overhead. Since it's newly renovated, there's a slight lingering new-decoration smell. ## Service I ordered takeout three times and also requested nail clippers from the hotel; all deliveries were efficiently handled by a robot.

This hotel experience was very good. The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was soft, and I slept soundly. The hotel service was very considerate. The check-in and check-out procedures at the front desk were very efficient, and the staff were warm and friendly. The breakfast was rich in variety and tasted good. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with convenient transportation around, and it is very convenient for shopping and eating. Overall, I am very satisfied with this accommodation experience and will choose this hotel next time.

Who knows, family members! The hotel we stayed in this time was amazing! As soon as we entered the lobby, the warm lighting and exquisite decorations made it warm and grand. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were super new. The front desk and room service responded super quickly and responded to every request. The point is that the hotel is right in the city center, which is super convenient for travel. There are so many delicious foods around that I am dazzled. I will stay here again next time I come here!

Conveniently located. 5 mins walk to mrt station and a row of good restaurant just outside mrt station. Great city view. I love the the city and people here. Will be back. Downside, my room smells like cigarette smoke. I’m sure if I request to change the room, they would but I was too tired too. Service staffs are very warm and friendly.
