Séjour superbe ! L'accueil a été souple et très chaleureux. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour les sourires, la gentillesse et de m'avoir fait senti aussi bien dans les lieux. L'environnement est superbe, les animaux apportent un charme incroyable, le petit écureuil à ma fenêtre, les appels magiques des hyènes dans la nuit...la décoration est partout très soignée et le lit est immense ! Vraiment j'aurai voulu que ce soit ma chambre pour toujours !

We stayed two nights at African Rock Lodge as a stop between Pretoria and Kruger Park, and everything was perfect. The lodge is beautiful, the rooms are super comfortable, and every detail is carefully thought out. Sander was incredibly helpful with helping us planning our driving routes, and the fact that he speaks French was a real plus! We also really enjoyed the braai – delicious, fresh, and varied. We’d absolutely recommend it without hesitation!

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und liebevoll gestaltet. Das Bett war sehr bequem und alles sehr sauber. Es fehlte an nichts. Das Frühstück war Reichhaltig . Der Grillabend ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die gemütliche Stimmung am Lagerfeuer runden den Tag ab. Beim Lesen auf meiner Terrasse besuchte mich ein Impala Baby. Sander und seine Familie sind sehr zuvorkommend. Sehr gerne komme ich wieder.

African Rock Lodge, est une destination que je recommande particulièrement. Tout est propice à la détente en symbiose avec la nature. L’accueil est très chaleureux, la déco et la propreté des lieux très soignées, et cerise sur le gâteau … une cuisine de qualité qui régale nos papilles😋. 3 jours de détente, dans un cadre exceptionnel. Nous avons aimé la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Sander, la soupe de tomate de Juliette, le cadre, le calme, la déco et la compagnie des animaux à quelques mètres de notre terrasse. La proximité de la ville sans ses désagréments et les promenades à pied dans la réserve privée.

We stayed (only) three nights at African Rock Lodge and it was the perfect choice for our trip to Kruger. Sander and Juliette were great hosts to us, their place is warm and cosy. We loved the dinners under the open air, food was delicious. With AFL being located in a wildlife reserve, we had the chance to meet impalas, kudus or giraffes during our stay and this made our experience unbelievable. Sander organised for us exciting safaris as well in Kruger and in private game reserves. I hope we will have the chance to come back here, everything was perfect and our only regret is that time flew too fast. Dear Juliette, Sander, we thank you, we wish you all the best and we hope you will find the resources to bring joy to many other visitors as you did it for us!
