我們在xc上下的單，6月22日遊完布萊德河峽谷後入住該酒店，沒想到成為我們此次南部非洲之行體驗最好的酒店之一。我們不知道酒店原來是不是廢棄的莊園，被改造成酒店。反正絕對原生態，樹木高大，綠茵葱葱，草坪蔓延，野花叢生。客房用樹樁支撐，用茅草覆蓋，點綴在綠色的大地上，時不時有斑馬、小鹿，還有河馬光顧。置身於其中，與其説是酒店，不如説是人生的歸宿。
房間不大，但佈置的典雅，就像回到自己家那樣温馨。無論是前台、客廳、餐廳、休閑區，都無可挑剔。
酒店工作人員都是黑人女性，非常友好、非常熱情，待人接物非常得體。
唯一不足的就是網絡不穩定。
這是一家值得推薦入住的酒店。

We had now our second visit here and it was great and fantastic. The location is so wonderful and the people and service was perfect. I like the breakfast, the dinner, the pool and the nice animals there especially the zebras. We are really lucky to have the possibility to visit such a wonderful Lodge.

Alles in einem ein toller Aufenthalt. Das Essen war atemberaubend und sehr gesund! Bei fragen hat man uns unterstützt. Die Zimmer waren sauber! Mir hat mir der persönliche Kontakt zum Service etc. gefehlt, das Personal war etwas zurückhaltend in der Kommunikation.

We verbleven hier twee nachten in september na de panoramaroute te hebben gereden. Hotel is echt bijzonder. Het is eigenlijk een klein dorpje. We hadden ons eigen huisje ver ver in de bosjes. Geen buren (wel twee andere huisjes, maar geen gasten) dus het voelde wel érg afgelegen. Leuk, maar ook een beetje niet leuk. Het advies was zelfs om met de auto naar het hoofdgebouw te rijden (ivm wildlife). We hebben heerlijk gegeten, personeel was meestal vriendelijk, soms niet. In de ochtend werd onze auto ongevraagd gewassen, leuk gebaar, maar dat was de ochtend ervoor door ons zelf gedaan en ik voelde me er toch niet echt prettig bij. Dichtsbijzijnde supermarkt is in Hoedspruit (30 min rijden) Huisje was van alle gemakken voorzien, badkamer kan wel een update gebruiken, zeer versleten en oubollig.

We’ve stayed at Blyde River Canyon Lodge twice and had a fantastic experience both times! The serene location, warm hospitality, and comfortable accommodations make it a perfect getaway. We’re already planning to come back soon. Highly recommended!

We stayed here after 15 days of self drive / self catering in the Kruger for a spot of relaxation. We used the family cottage which is situated near the main house and pool area. It suited us well for a family of 4 (teen/tween girls). The stairs in the cottage are not for the unsteady though! There is a small kitchen in the cottage, but not much in the way of crockery and utensils, but I’m sure the Lodge would accommodate any requests/needs if asked. There is a good size fridge and freezer. The downstairs twin room has a shower room, with the upstairs double having a bathroom with bath. We had a warm welcome from all the staff and enjoyed home cooked breakfasts and dinners. The food is lovely, with traditional South African dishes served. The Lodge is well organised and efficient, but homely and relaxing at the same time. We would recommend to others and stay again!

Abbiamo soggiornato qui in occasione del nostro viaggio di nozze. Struttura molto accogliente e con lo spazio verde che la circonda permette agli ospiti di rilassarsi e ricalibrare i ritmi di vita. Personale molto gentile, ottima cucina e possibilità di posteggio incluso nella prenotazione della camera.

Du charme et du luxe à côté d'une réserve près des canyons. Le domaine est exceptionnel. Le personnel est incroyables. Vous êtes dans un parc immense avec une qualité d'accueil remarquable. C'est magnifique à tous les niveaux. partez sans vous posez de questions, c'est parfait.

Blyde River Canyon Lodge should be on anyone's list of places to stay when you are in the area. The lodge is perfectly located at the foothills of the Northern Drakensberg Mountains in the Blyde River Canyon and the scenery is just wonderful. Dudu was on hand to welcome us and what a warm and genuine welcome it was. The accommodation was spot on and very comfortable. We enjoyed a fantastic 3 course dinner at the lodge. The meal was perfectly presented and the fillet steak for main course was one of the best I have had in ages. We had great and friendly service from Fortunate during dinner. WiFi worked perfectly in the rooms and the lodge's main area. A bonus was having our vehicle washed before departure. I can highly recommend a stay at Blyde River Canyon Lodge. 10/10 from me !
