Very quiet, very big room, good breakfast. I didn't rent a car, and the pick-up and drop-off are expensive

We visited on our honeymoon in June ! This hotel was exactly what we wanted! A quiet retreat with a personal feel. The hotel is a great little place and lovely and quiet ! All of the staff were excellent and very friendly ! We did a couple of days in Kruger with Ateest and James ! Both days were amazing ! Would highly recommend and also recommend booking with either of these guys ! Both superb! The sunset drive is lovely with a glass of wine ! The morning game drive is a at a lovely local big game reserve which is close by if you didn’t want to go too far! We had a massage in the spa which was great too ! A special mention to the chefs ! We ate absolutely everything and was delicious ! Every night the food was 10/10 ! Cannot fault this place, would defiantly recommend

The Unembeza boutique lodge and Spa is an intimate Africa experience with friendly attentive staff that wait on your every need. We stayed in a garden suit that was spacious and well equipped with a four poster bed draped with a mosquito net that was turned down every night. It had a massive bathtub, in door and outdoor shower and a large twin sink in the bathroom. The resident wildlife included warthogs, waterbuck, impala and monkeys around the lodge then on the sunset drive tour down to the dams we saw zebras 🦓 and giraffes 🦒. Meals: the meals (breakfast & dinner) were part of the well thought out menu that couldn’t be faulted. We enquired about having local food and the next night impala was an option on the menu. Spa: We took the opportunity to indulge in a couple of massages which were done in an open air tent and very relaxing. I would highly recommend this boutique lodge to anyone as a gentle introduce to the wilderness of South Africa 🇿🇦

Perfect and safe location, stunning rooms and villa's, very good quality of food and more than enough opportunities to activities. This was our 2nd stay here... and it would definitely not the be last!

We hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad in dit hotel. De kamer was verzorgd, het personeel erg vriendelijk en je ziet veel wilde dieren vanuit je slaapkamer of op je terras. Helaas was het zwembad niet schoon genoeg om in te zwemmen.

Very relaxing stay with helpful friendly staff. Relatively convenient for Kruger although we drove through Kruger ourselves so didn’t use the lodges excursions but those who did spoke highly of them. Great to walk round the immediate area with sightings of giraffe, zebra, kudu, impala and wart hogs.

Prachtige plek! Stijlvolle Lodge. Wij verbleven in Villa Marula. Zeer stijlvol ingericht. Heerlijk zwembad. Petanque. Comfortabele bedden. Fijne binnen - en buitendouche.Pravhtige omgeving, impalas, giraffen, kudus lopen rond in de buurt. Prachtige. Nature walk en mountainbikers tour gedaan met gids Valencia. Heel bijzonder, tussen de giraffen en zebra’s. Met ranger Dave een dagsafari in Kruger Park beleefd. Veel kennis van alle dieren en de omgeving. Fantastische ervaring! Ontzettend aardige mensen, heerlijk eten. Aanrader!
