Trang An Garden Resort Reviews

Great hotel between Trang and and tam coc. Very quiet surrounding. The room was massive. The staff were really nice and helped prepare take away breakfast for us for second day as we had to leave early. There are free bicycles but they weren’t that good so we hired a motorbike which was super helpful as we could get to many places and get there quickly too.

A wonderful resort amongst the beauty and nature of Ninh Binh and offered some peace and quiet after coming from busy cities. The room was wonderful and had everything I needed. I love that I had a private pool but unfortunately not warm enough to use. I did try to have a bath but there wasn’t enough hot water to fill it up so something to keep in mind. I did have some furry little friends visit during the night and sometimes when I was in my room but they were harmless, to be expected when in nature and they enjoyed the complimentary fruit. Kin and all staff were so kind, lovely and helpful and made my stay one to remember.

The resort is quite quiet because it is located deep in a residential area, the space is airy and comfortable, and has a private swimming pool.

The hotel is ideally located, surrounded by nature. It's perfect if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Tam Coc (7 km away). The staff is very friendly and attentive. The property offers scooters (gas included) and bicycles for rent. The room is very spacious, with everything you need and a large, very comfortable bed. Each room has a private pool, ideal for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.

A 10/10 hotel. The villa with its own pool is amazing, you can see it in the photos. Everything is new, the breakfast is decent and the staff is always attentive and very friendly. Special mention to Kien, who is very nice and helpful and learning English to serve you better. You can rent a motorbike or bike and the location is very good, close to both Trang An and Mua Cave.

Picturesque place at the foot of the mountain, with an outdoor pool, very convenient for couples and lovers. Authentic, the only thing is the breakfast is very modest in choice. Friendly and welcoming hosts.

The resort is still under construction so they are still working on the grounds. Super friendly man who did speak to us and helped us and spoke excellent English. Location is a bit far away from the hustle and bustle. There are restaurants in the street itself but there is not much to do. You can walk to the cave so that is good. In terms of room we found it mediocre. Photos on the internet looked nicer. There are slots at the door (this does not fit well against the wall). So every evening we checked the room for vermin (found nothing by the way). Bicycles are not free, you had to pay for them. And breakfast is served on a small table in a corner. Bath is also a bit wobbly. In nice weather you can probably enjoy the bath at the back of the garden a bit more. But again, they are very friendly.

This accommodation was booked for us as part of a stay. We were there for just the one night, arriving early evening and picked up early the next morning. The staff are very friendly and helpful and on check in informed us that they had organised a picnic breakfast for us as we were leaving too early for the buffet breakfast Our room was exactly as the photo shows. I’m guessing by the fact ours is the first review that this a new accommodation so there are some on site works still going on. The garden area view from the main room and bathroom needs some work as is currently a building site/dump, hopefully this will be completed in the future. Also, the small windows in the main room need blinds as when sleeping with this immediately above your head then it can wake you up quite early! I would definitely recommend this venue as it is located in a small village with some fantastic restaurants on the doorstep and perfect for some R&R while you are visiting Ninh Binh nearby as we were.
