After two nights in the Roseland Corp Hotel I just don’t know where to start describing this horrible experience as everything - the service, the rooms, the prices - was just so, so bad. So I just start at the beginning: We arrived on a Thursday. Arranging a pick-up from the airport was surprisingly complicated, it took several mails with the service manager for no reason but in the end there was a quite unfriendly driver waiting for us at the gate. They charged us 750.000 Dong which is way above the common taxi-rate (150.000 Dong). When we arrived at the hotel they charged my credit card for the room - twice. As the woman at the front desk didn’t understand English that well, it was quite complicated to convince her of her mistake and get the money back. The Roseland Corp hotel has an impressive entrance area. It’s nice, really. But unfortunately this doesn’t translate to the rooms. They are terrible, probably furnished in the 80s and not renewed since. They have whirlpool bathtubs made of plastic, lots of wood in the room, curtains that haven’t been washed for ages, and you can hear everything that is going on outside of your room. The first room we got smelled like cold cigarette smoke. I complained and they upgraded us to a bigger room (after we looked at a series of rooms, one of them still in use by a paying guest). But even the upgraded room was by far worse then everything we have seen in Vietnam. I wanted to cancel the whole reservation but they wouldn’t let us go. Instead they promised us the best room of the hotel the next day and we stayed. The first night was terrible. The bed had a very, very old and thus noisy spring mattress. The slightest movement made a noise. The walls and curtains had stains all over it. There’s no constant hot water, I had a cold shower in the morning. Shower and toilet happened to make weird unexpected noises. The best room in the hotel was basically the same as before but with a better view and a less noisy mattress. At this point I was ready to drink on that but unfortunately all the mini bar contained was two bottles of water. Breakfast was…well, let’s not talk about it. All of this would have been okay somehow if this hotel wasn’t so pricey. It’s like paying for a filet mignon and getting McDonalds Cheesburger. When we checked out the woman at the front desk (the same who messed up the payment) kindly asked us to sit and wait in the entrance area so she can check if everything is okay. We waited five, ten, fifteen minutes and nothing happened. When we asked her if everything was okay, she was surprised to see that we are still there. Yes, everything okay, she said. I can’t say the same. P.S.: Neil, the doorman, was the only exception to this experience. You are great, man! Please find a new employer.

Roseland Sweet Hotel is a value for money hotel; and there would be many other similar hotels easily found online. But what made Roseland stand out was one of their staff Kiet Anh, who is a bellboy, front desk, concierge all rolled into one. The week I was there, he was working everyday and all hours, I practically see him all the time whenever i'm at the lobby, whether I am going out or coming back. His bright, cheerful and friendly demeanour plus his very personal touch is on par with the service found only at the 5 or 6 star hotels. He was what made the difference for me staying at Roseland; which otherwise would be a good but pretty average hotel. Roseland is indeed very fortunate to have employed a staff like him; and given time and the right grooming would make an excellent management personnel in the hospitality industry. My choice of hotel will still be Roseland for my next coming trip, but only if Kiet is there. Thank you Kiet, for making my stay so pleasant and memorable; and thanks for helping me send my cracked handphone for repair; you really saved my life!! See you soon!

Hotel in close to river, though area is very modern. A lot of the attractions seem to be around 1-1.5km away. Breakfast was good and had a good variety. It was disappointing that we could access the sky bar as it was all closed at 8pm, though it’s advertised as being open till 10pm. I Probably wouldn’t stay here again due to its location for me personally it’s a bit far out, but this is a personal decision and nothing against the hotel. Hotel was clean and staff were really great

We stayed 3 nights in Roseland Centa hotel. Beautiful and comfortable rooms, extensive breakfast buffet, good location. The greatest brightness of this hotel is the reception staff. They shall do everything in their power to make the stay as pleasant as possible. For example, Long advised us to go to look at the firework from the roof of Roseland Sweet Hotel and reserved a VIP table, we asked 2 additional heads and were brought in an eye-spot, ... Special thanks to Long, Niran and Tai.

This hotel is about 100m away from Ben Thanh Market, 5 minutes walk to Saigon Square or Takashimaya. It is clean, almost new and customer service oriented. They offer you tea with snacks while they process your check-in. The staff will then wait for you to finish your tea and bring you go up to your room. They love showing you the rooms, as it gives you “Wow” factors. They gave us free upgrade and the toilet bowl is Japanese style. They will deliver chocolates and good night cards after dinner. They even remember my girlfriend’s birthday and left the birthday cake on the table. 👍👍👍
However, there are “not so good” to mention.
They do not have wide range of TV channels. Only news channels. No Sports or other movies channels. The toilet bowl is also very close to the door, making me difficult to open the door at times. They should also not open the gym so early as some guests will throw weights on the floor while doing gym. The sound will wake you up. You also need to pray that it is not raining or you will get wet as their shelter could not prevent you being getting wet from rain.
Overall, this is the best hotel by far I stayed in HCM, in terms of cleaniness, friendly & customer service oriented staff and room designs.
It’s almost perfect hotel for me. Will I stay here again on my next visit? Yes I will.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Love love this property from the location to the staff ! Their coffee in the Ground Floor was amazing! I stayed in total of 5 nights. The room was very spacious, cleanliness and housekeeping were top notch ! They keep in contact with you via WhatsApp and willing to assist with any issues. Perfect for longer stay because laundry on the top floor is also included which saves us traveller so much time/money. My city’s local friend told me that I chose the right location to stay as it is in the middle of everything. Oh, there is a Bon Bo Hue nearby that I went two times, so delicious ! Cute, modern and clean boutique hotel in District 1. On a busy vibrant street with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It's in the older section of Ho Chi Minh City, so you get to experience the more ”authentic” part of the city versus the newer, more modern areas. Check-in was easy and all the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I was at first a little concerned with the hot and stuffy elevator and hallways. But once in our room, it was really nice. Large room, simply but nicely decorated and very clean. In room safe, large TV, fridge. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. A/C kept the room cool, but will turn off if you remove the room card from the room. If you go out, your room will be hot when you get back, but it cools down pretty quick. Beds were a little firm (which I prefer) and very comfortable, with comfortable pillows and sheets. I slept great here! Bathroom was modern and clean, and we appreciated all the provided amenities like toothbrush/toothpaste, Q-tips, shower caps, comb, lotion etc. Very nice! One negative; there's no shelf in the shower to put your soap, shampoo bottle, wash cloth, etc. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of Western and Asian choices. Lots of different fruit juices, teas, coffee and there was an omelette station as well. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would gladly stay here again.

We arrived super early to check in due to an early flight. We were allowed up by the pool to chill out and the lady met us and explained we was rushing the clean for us so we could get in early and let us store our bags. Whole thing was so smoothly run and the pool is cold! The first cold pool we’ve come across in Vietnam and it’s just the best! The apartment block it’s in is so quiet perfect to relax in. You have a washing machine in case you want to do any washing. Has a small kitchen so you can cook some basics and save yourself a bit of money. Can’t fault it!

This is the best apartment I stayed in this time. It is clean, stylish, and in a good corner. It is convenient to check in. I highly recommend it. I will stay here again next time. I strongly recommend it to everyone. Facilities: I like the furniture very much. The selection is very fashionable. It looks good. The kitchen utensils are complete. There is ice water in the refrigerator. It's a pity that I only stayed for one day this time.

FFan·huaThe hotel is in the landmark 81 building. I stayed there for a long time. The view from the roof is nice. Downstairs is the business center. You can withdraw Vietnamese Dong with your UnionPay card. The surrounding is very lively. The curtains are electric. Overall, it is not bad. I took some pictures of the scenery from the balcony.
CCherian99234Everything was great, and the rooms were really clean. The host is super friendly, helpful, and has great character. When I forgot the key card at Landmark Plus, I texted him right away. I thought he'd be mad, but nope! He was so responsible—he even booked a Grab to get the key card back without charging me a thing. I'll definitely stay at his place again
JJames1219Hotel is in a very good location, quick access to many popular places. The street itself is average with just a few coffee shops and small stores.
The amenities of the hotel are unique such as the hammocks, and open air type of room layout.
They also have a top floor that’s used for not only breakfast, but also a casual recreational or dining area that people can use throughout the day.
But the wear and tear of the hotel is starting to show. Floors have stains, walls need painting, elevator is messy and dirty.
Service is average, nothing spectacular. For the price, it needs to update some things or they will need to lower the price.
IIc3miloI recently had the pleasure of staying at M City Hotel Saigon, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The hotel's modern design, impeccable service, and prime location made for a truly unforgettable experience.
Highlights:
• Spacious and stylish room with comfortable bedding
• Friendly and attentive staff, always willing to help
• Convenient location, close to major attractions and shopping hubs
• Cleanliness of the room is great
GGuest UserGreat place to stay in HCM! After 2 failed bookings we ended up in Icon Saigon as a back up plan and we ended up staying there for nearly a week. The value you get for the price is the best deal! The hotel is modern, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very complete and in a very pleasant room with good views of the city. The rooftop bar is the perfect place to end the day with many available drinks at a fair price. The staff was very nice and available to help us anytime. We also had plenty of space to work outside the room and the location is perfect, with many restaurants nearby and right by the opera house so we couldn’t ask for anything else.
GGuest UserI have stayed at this hotel numerous times and like it because of location and standard. The rooms may be a little dated (shower over the bath tub) but very comfortable On previous stays I have been roomed at the back of the hotel, however on the 2 recent stays have had rooms with view of the surrounds (thanks to Duty Manager Nguyen), and enjoyed both rooms. Staff at the front desk are very warm (even though a little slow), and porters are extremely helpful. The lobby lounge is comfortable for the after touring drink, or before venturing out at night. The only negative I found was that in the mall outside , entertainment went too late in the evening and did cause a little noise too late at night. I would certainly stay here again.
GGuest UserVery helpful and kind personnel, check in has been smooth, they helped us with luggage and also to book a taxi for the next day. Rooms are not very large, but mostly clean. Noises are an issue, mainly from outside. Sounds enter quite loud from the street, making it uncomfortable. Breakfast average.
AAnonymous UserHotel for one night. Terrible organization of breakfast. People were offered to have breakfast in the common corridor or at the bar. If there was free spare in the restaurant at breakfast, some of the taller and area here not used. Breakfast below average. Dirty cutlery. As a hotel for one night, no more.
GGuest UserWe stayed here 2N at the start & 2N at the end of our 12D tour. Each time the hotel bellhop was ready to assist us. Cannot say the same for the Reception staff. The 2nd time we were even given a room that we could not even lock and after waiting for some time and still not allocated a new room, we insisted that we be given one asap and they had no choice but to upgrade us. No tourist information was also given and when we asked for a map, they flipped through files and then said that there was none left. Surely, they could photocopy one from their file. We then asked directions to the river and all they told us was that it was too far to walk. We told them we had looked it up before we came to Vietnam and it was within walking distance. It is less than 2km away. The good points of the hotel is that it is very conveniently located opposite Ben Thanh Market and within walking distance to the river, Saigon Opera House and the Saigon Centre/Takashimaya where there were plenty of food choices. The buffet breakfast is also good enough with both Western (scrambled eggs/sausages/ham/salad/plain pastries) and Asian (congee/soup/rice with veg/fish/meat), a fruit juice/tea/coffee/fruits/yoghurt. Just be warned that the hotel's entry is via a flight of stairs. Hence, not suitable for those requiring wheelchair access or the very elderly.
GGuest UserLocation was great and rather centralized. It's right at the corner of the happening night life street. Music were loud but manageable in the room.
Staffs were friendly and helpful. There's a massage place at the entrance of the hotel which is very convenient if you need one.
Just 1 downside is that the sink has some pipe issues whereby it will leak but issue wasn't that big to complain about.
Overall would recommend the place to stay.
