I made a quick reservation to rest before catching the early morning bus, but it was the right size and in good condition, and the host's response was very quick and good. There was a beam projector, a sofa, and everything else. From an iron to an all-in-one washer and dryer, it is highly recommended for long-term travelers rather than short-term travelers. The reason is that it is quite inconvenient when you first check in.
The staff was exceptional, the hotel's design was stunning, and the premium suite was breathtaking. The restaurant served delicious dishes, and the facilities were top-notch. Its central location was convenient for exploring the city. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
The location of the hotel is very good, on the side of Japanese street. The hygiene is very good. The front desk service is quite satisfactory and does not speak Chinese. The room facilities are relatively old and it feels like they need to be renovated. We booked a 2-bedroom and 1-living room. The living room is very large, but the room is relatively small. The bed and mattress are not the same width, and the bed protrudes. My friend and I both kicked our feet once. I booked this room because it had a washing machine, but when I arrived I found that it didn't come with a dryer, and there was no laundry detergent provided. Overall, the facilities were not as good as expected.

Very clean and neat room. Hotel lobby had renovations going on hence the walkway was a tat narrow. The service staff were great and very accommodating. The hotel is located at a quiet corner of the street hence needs a bit of walking to get to most places. Had 1 sleepless night due to close proximity of room to the bar/disco/party happening at the opposite block. Good price point for the rooms!
The front desk staff at White Lotus Hotel are proficient in English, very helpful, and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was also fantastic. The rooms are clean and very quiet, and the location is great as shopping malls, party areas, and good restaurants are all within walking distance. I will definitely recommend White Lotus Hotel to my friends.
Very good hotel, friendly and enthusiastic staff always willing to answer all questions. Convenient location, easy to go to famous places such as Ben Thanh market, Saigon river,...I will definitely come back next time
Everything was great there, first time staying there, reception lady is very helpful with my enquiries, I will certainly stay there again for my next & subsequent trips!
Stayed here for NY countdown. The location is central, at the District 1 ”Japanese Street”. Bustling and convenient area. When not enjoying their nice breakfast, there are plenty of eateries nearby. The rooftop bar and pool was good for viewing new year fireworks too.
However, a few setbacks deducted quite a few points.
1) faulty elevator at times (had to take the stairs sometimes, and be careful at the stairs as its ceiling is really low, my friend hit his head once)
2) hammering and drilling in nearby room or building at early hours (good thing is they let you switch room when dissatisfied)
3) first room had a weird smell (older room with Jacuzzi tub). The final room we got smelled nice (newer room with standard bathtub), but TV remote control and bathtub stopper were missing, had to ask for it
4) the final flaw that made my female friends very uncomfortable, was the clientele - many middle-aged men sitting or waiting around lobby area, ogling girls who walked by. Sometimes it's a group of men, sometimes they're paired with a local lady.
Other things to note:
- upon check-in, they will request to keep your passport throughout your stay. We were not going to do that, so we gave them VND500000 as deposit (which you'll get back when you check out)
- the toilet and shower/bath area are separate, however the walls and doors were made of frosted glass, rather see-through, might be awkward for some if you're not a couple
Dear Ramada Encore Hotel,
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the delightful surprise you gave me on my birthday. I was completely taken aback when I entered my room and found a delicious birthday cake waiting for me. It was a truly thoughtful gesture that made my day extraordinarily special.
Not only did the cake make me feel important and valued as a guest, but it also showcased the excellent level of service provided by your hotel. The personalized touch added an extra layer of warmth and made my stay at Ramada Encore Hotel unforgettable.
I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff involved in orchestrating this surprise. From the moment I checked in until I checked out, I was greeted with exceptional hospitality and kindness. Your dedication towards making your guests feel special has truly exceeded my expectations.
Please convey my sincere thanks to the baking team for their outstanding craftsmanship and talent in creating such a beautiful cake. It truly made a lasting impression on me and added an incredible touch to my birthday celebration.
I must also mention the outstanding amenities and services offered by your hotel. The rooms were beautifully appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The dining options were superb, offering a wide array of delicious dishes that catered to every palate. The on-site facilities, such as the fitness center and pool, were well-maintained and provided a delightful experience.
However, what truly set the Ramada Encore Hotel apart was the attention to detail and the personalized service extended to me as a guest. The staff went above and beyond to fulfill every request promptly and efficiently, ensuring that my needs were met with the utmost care and consideration.
I cannot express enough how grateful I am for choosing to stay at Ramada Encore Hotel. The experience was nothing short of exceptional, and I will enthusiastically recommend your hotel to anyone seeking a remarkable stay.
Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the delicious birthday cake and the wonderful memories I will forever cherish. I am grateful for the exceptional service and hospitality provided by Ramada Encore Hotel.
Warm regards,
ARIEL
I recently stayed at this hotel, and I have to say, the experience was extremely disappointing. Upon check-in, I wasn't informed about the hotel facilities or the breakfast hours and location. I also wasn’t given any guidance on how to get to the elevator. Beyond the bellboy service (where tipping was expected), the staff was not proactive at all in assisting with anything. I was especially shocked when I saw an elderly person get trapped by the elevator doors, and two bellboys standing by without helping.
On New Year’s Eve, I was looking forward to watching the fireworks over the Saigon River from my room, but the hotel’s own fireworks were so smoky that I couldn't see anything through my window (I was on the 10th floor!). The whole fireworks experience was ruined, and to make matters worse, the loud music continued for another hour, disturbing my sleep.
The breakfast experience was just as frustrating. Because I wasn't told where to eat the previous day, I accidentally went to a temporary dining room, which had no staff who spoke English, making it difficult to ask any questions. The food choices were extremely limited, and I was surprised to find no milk or basic breakfast items available. The food quality was far below the standards expected from a 5-star hotel. After some searching, I discovered the actual breakfast restaurant was downstairs, and the restaurant supervisor instructed me to carry my tray downstairs myself. This felt extremely inconvenient and unnecessary, and once I was downstairs, I was told to wait outside for a table to become available. Standing outside with two trays of food in my hands felt humiliating, especially in a 5-star hotel.
The downstairs restaurant did offer more variety, including smoked salmon, cured ham, and waffles, but by the time I made it down, I had already eaten most of my breakfast, so I didn’t get to fully enjoy it.
Finally, when I went to pick up my luggage from the front desk, I was asked to search through a pile of luggage to find my own. I asked how I was supposed to identify it in such a pile, and even if I could, I couldn’t move all the luggage around by myself. This was not only inconvenient but also frustrating.
Overall, I can only give this hotel 2 stars. One star for the hotel’s physical facilities, and the other because the review form doesn't allow for a zero-star rating. Otherwise, I would have rated it even lower. This stay was a huge letdown and didn’t come close to the 5-star experience I was expecting. Both the service and the amenities were severely lacking. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves for future guests.

화화이트플랫I stayed in the River View Executive King Room. The room was clean and had a nice view of the river. The swimming pool was pretty and I exercised in the morning.
It's close to Japanese Street, so it's perfect for those looking for a hotel in this area.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a good location, very close to the center. At night, you can see many young people and the local bustle and prosperity on CityWalk. The safety is OK because there are many Japanese and Koreans living here. Although it is old, the sanitary environment is still very good. As a city hotel, the price/performance ratio is OK
GGuest UserThe room was very clean, with a huge bed, and the breakfast was delicious! There was also freshly squeezed juice! The location was good, right on Japan Street, with many delicious restaurants downstairs, and 711 and BIDV ATM across the street. It was also very convenient to walk to various attractions, all less than 1 km, and only took more than ten minutes to walk.
YYouretrippinMy partner and I stayed here for 5 nights and our stay was amazing!! The service from the moment you step in to the moment you step out is top tier. They have such welcoming, attentive and friendly staff who always go above and beyond. I don’t think I opened the door myself once when entering or exiting the building and was greeted warmly every morning and upon every return!! The rooms themselves are very clean and it stays that way as they have an impeccable house keeping service. They have breakfast available every morning and a gym which isn’t very extensive but has all the essentials. There also isn’t a pool, however, with the location being in the heart of Japan town and within walking distance of all the major sites (War Remnant Museum, Independence Palace, CBD), health and wellness centres and great food as well as in range for day tour pick up, this isn’t much of an issue as there is plenty to see and do at your doorstep. We will definitely be back!!
KKheng ShunGood spread of breakfast buffet. Afternoon tea, coffee and pastries are good and tasty as part of hotel stay. The swimming pool located at the top level is well maintained though small. The staff are very courteous and attentive to your requests. Thanks to Lina and team. The close vicinity to Japanese food street is another big plus. My two-night stay provided a very good experience, so I will return to this hotel in my next visit to HCM.
LL@n@A nice and clean hotel at a very convenient location, close to all essential places. Breakfast is really good, the staff are helpful and friendly. Everyone speaks English.
TTimmmmm0102- The location is right near Le Thanh Ton Street in the Japanese town, a great place for Japanese people where you can find everything you need.
- The room was much larger than I expected, and there was a washing machine and refrigerator, so it felt more like an apartment than a hotel. Being able to do your laundry and dry it was very helpful.
- The hotel itself is small, but there is always someone at the reception, and even though I was returning on a midnight flight, they were able to keep my luggage for me until 11pm after check-out, which was very helpful.
- However, the room itself seemed a little old and dark.
LLan AnhNice trip
Me n mah boy had a wonderful time here
Delicious breakfast, large bathtub and everything was good, at least for me
Comeback soon asap
CCharles LandersVery good location and very friendly and helpful staff. The area is very interesting and buzzing with activity. Some good restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance.
PPung Kok YauIts a small / medium size old hotel building located at the center area of district 1. Single receptionist at the counter. Room size is of standard size even though booked a deluxe room stated as 32m2, where the room given is more of around 22m2 size room. Nothing fancy in the room and the bed mattress is quite old as can feel the mattress is more worn down. Basic toilet amenities provided but the room slipper is of ”Japanese” rubber slipper worn by many guest and doubt it has been washed or sterilized for use. The hotel is very basic and the room is more like budget hotel standard for the price which is noted lower compared to other hotels surrounding the area which are higher.
