What I Liked: Exceptional Service The staff responded immediately when I raised an issue with my original room and upgraded me without hesitation. This was a huge relief since I arrived past 7 PM after a long flight and was extremely tired. They also accommodated my mobility concerns by allowing me to use the staff elevator from the ground floor—something I truly appreciated. Prime Location The hotel is just a short walk from the famous Ben Thanh Market, surrounded by plenty of shops and dining options. If you don’t mind a lively, bustling area, this is an excellent spot to stay. Upgraded Room The upgraded room exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel—spacious, with strong water pressure and multiple showerhead options. While there’s no bathtub, I rarely use one, so it wasn’t an issue. The room itself was much larger than expected, with large windows and surprisingly quiet despite being near a busy street. Additional perks I loved: Netflix-ready TV (with an account already logged in) Comfortable bed with quality linens and pillows Breakfast For the price, the breakfast selection was reasonable and satisfying. What Could Be Improved: Mobility Access Accessibility can be challenging as the main entrance and breakfast area both require stairs. An alternative solution for guests with mobility issues would be a great improvement. Amenities There’s no pool or gym, so if those are essential for your stay, this might not be the best fit. Personally, this wasn’t an issue since I only stayed overnight. Original Room Condition The first room I checked into needed better maintenance, particularly the air conditioning. Since the room had no windows, it felt hot and humid. Considering I arrived late, there should have been enough time to ensure everything was in proper working order. Overall, despite a few areas for improvement such as accessibility and amenities, the excellent service, prime location, spacious upgraded room, and reasonable breakfast make this hotel a solid choice. I would still recommend it for a comfortable stay, especially if you value convenience and attentive staff which is a very important factor to me as it can make or break the whole stay experience.

The front desk staff gave a very detailed introduction at check-in, and a bellman helped carry our luggage from the ground floor to the lobby. In addition to breakfast, the hotel also provides afternoon tea on the 12th floor, which is even available on the day of check out a thoughtful touch for guests waiting for evening flights. The welcome drink and snacks were lovely and unique. Our reserved room had a clear view of the lively streets outside Bến Thành Market. The bathroom was well-equipped with bath salts, bathrobes and jacuzzi. All drinks in the minibar were complimentary, and although the hair dryer was not a famous brand, it worked extremely well. Breakfast was fairly standard, but they also offered an à la carte menu with various Vietnamese specialties. The hotel’s design and artistic atmosphere are impressive. On the day we checked out, the afternoon tea service even featured a live band performance, which made the experience even more memorable. Overall, I would love to return and will recommend this hotel to friends visiting Ho Chi Minh City. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful stay.

The only good side is the strategic location to all the main tourist spots and must-try restaurants. We just covered all by foot from the hotel. However, we were being catfished by the hotel photos and “very good” reviews posted in trip.com, which we were quite disappointed. From cleanliness aspect, some surfaces in the room are covered with thick dust. The towel smelled like they didn’t wash or air dry properly. Hence, we requested a new towel from the receptionist. They don’t have much amenities like gym, pool and spa. Budget wise, they only provide WiFi and essential toiletries such as toilet paper, towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb and cotton buds. For service wise, overall it’s average. The guard will help us to carry our luggage in and out of the hotel, opening the grab car’s door for us. However we encountered an unpleasant experience with the receptionist and hotel manager. I went for a body massage on the first night, with the red tiger balm on my body and neck. It stained on the bedsheet, duvet and one pillowcase. This was my fault and I admitted and willing to settle it. The next day, the receptionist said we need to pay 1344,750VND (51USD) for a new set of duvet, bedsheet and 3 pillowcases. I asked them whether the stains can be removed with detergent or some special washing techniques, and they kept saying “can’t” which was a bit ridiculous. I also checked on the average prices of new duvet, bedsheet and pillowcases online, it’s way cheaper than those written in the miscellaneous bill. Furthermore, hotels usually do bulk purchase on these items and they will be given special rates too. Something fishy there. I asked them to check again the pillowcases because I remembered I only stained one, they said they’ve sent to the laundry department so they can’t check for me. It doesn’t make sense for a hotel’s laundry / third party laundry to be so helpless to remove a few patches of oil-based stain. Thanks to trip.com for liaising this matter with the hotel and they agreed to issue me a laundry charge of 470,000VND instead of paying 1344,750USD. I very rarely write such long review, but for this hotel, I really hope that no more “misleading” nice reviews and photos.

Room was spacious and clean. The breakfast spread was good. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. Carry our luggages up and down the stairs at the entrance. The hotel is very close to Ben Tanh market and Malaysia street. Very accessible to Halal restaurants, which is very convenient. 100% would stay here again for my next visit. Totally recommended.

I love the hotel — amenities are great; breakfast not much but still good and enough; walking distance to a lot of attractions, cafes and malls if you don’t mind the heat….. my favourite was the sauna… the only downside i think was the spa/massage, it’s on the different hotel, and you need to reserve ahead of time, i’m not really sure where it is located as I wasn’t able to go as there’s no availability for the time that I wanted (but as per the receptionist it’s about 5 minutes walk)

Stayed for 3 nights and overall great value for money! Superb location in the heart of shopping and eating district - main road, easy to locate! Very kind and accommodating staffs. Daily breakfast offers different foods which we really liked! Rooms are big than we expected. Easy check in and check out process as well! We will definitely come back soon!

Walking distance to most shopping malls and tourist spots like the War Remnant Museum. There’s a lot of renovations being done to the hotel building as well as roadworks around the area. Didn’t sleep well on first two nights, subsequent two nights were good.  Service staffs were friendly and accommodating.  Would recommend for good value and convenient.

Good hotel at Ben Thanh Market area with reasonable room price. Receptionists are very efficient & courteous in informing guests on Do's & Don'ts at the hotel. Lobby area is shared with Vietnames restaurant (selling food at expensive prices even after 10% complimentary discount voucher from the hotel). Superior Double Room is compact, clean & tidy. No smell. Toilet is clean & tidy as well. Facilities inside room: hair dryer, water boiling kettle, wifi, TV, aircon, safety deposit box, slippers, hot shower, toiletries like liquid soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, etc. Nice comfortable bed & pillows. Complementary 2 bottled water, 2 sachets of coffee & 2 tea bags. Plenty of cafes & restaurants nearby. Safe area. 2 complaints: 1. as most hotel in Vietnam, the door & wall are quite thin, & if there is noise from the walkway outside the room, it can be heard very clearly from the room. In the toilet, one can also hear the noise from the toilet of the next room. 2. The wash basin looks beautiful, but does not have good design - the wash basin is too shallow & flat, every time the tap water is turned on, water will be splashing all over outside the basin & the floor.

I love the bell boy/concierge guy. Went all the way out to get me my urgent ride to the airport when the roads where sealed off due to the parade. Please keep him there always!
