Hotels in Bui Vien Walking Street, Ho Chi Minh City

Booked a suite room. New hotel with old fashion room design. Toilet wall is built with frosted laminated glass upto forehead level. Above is clear glass. Privacy may be a concern for some. Decent and simple breakfast but adequate. Steamed vegetables, chicken porridge, fried rice, lettuce, bread, buns all free flow. Each guest can order 1 choice of eggs selection and 1 choice noodle. Enough to get you going in the morning. As  this room face the main road, it can be noisy at time start 8am. After 9pm the noise goes down. Overall good stay.

Disappointing Stay Despite Good Location I stayed at this hotel during my visit to Vietnam and unfortunately, my experience was not great. The hotel itself is quite old-fashioned, and while it had a window, it only looked out to the back of the building. The WiFi kept dropping frequently, which made it hard to stay connected. One of the most inconvenient things was having to climb two flights of stairs just to reach the elevator that serves floors 2 to 8. My room was on the 8th floor, so this got tiring quickly, especially after long days out. The staff were polite, but my biggest issue was that three of my personal items were stolen from my room. I had left them on the table to use when I got back—nothing valuable, just everyday things like my water bottle, hair product, and body wash—and they were gone when I returned. I reported this during check-out, and the front desk staff just said ”ok” with no apology or concern, which was disappointing. Yes, there is a sign suggesting guests put valuables in the safe, but these were not valuables—they were personal effects. Am I supposed to lock up my toiletries too? The one positive I’ll mention is that the location is very convenient—close to many restaurants and shops. But sadly, the lack of security and the dismissive response to my complaint really overshadowed that.

We had a great stay at Le Vu. They don’t speak straight English but still service is soooo good. They change the towels and make up the room everyday. They also give bottled water everyday. The location is very accessible especially if you’re traveling to other places via bus, terminals are right outside. Banh Mi, Pho, coffee shops and ATMs are also just outside. It’s just an alley but not dirty. Value for money!

It’s very near to bui vien walking street by walking distance only, come with a lot eaters around and bus station to go other states of Vietnam. Too bad that I’m not going anywhere but it’s good to know the gem of the area where night life just behind the hotel and its doesn’t make noise during our sleep.

Highly Recommended! 4.5Star Rating! Very Affordable Price + Super strategic Location with 7-11, Money Changer & Highland Coffee just near to the Hotel. There’s Plenty of foods & Restaurant around and if you like Pho, you will find a very nice 24/7 Pho Restaurant just 300Meter away. The Hotel also just about 100-150meter away from the Walking Street and very safe to walk around at the night time. If you are looking for Fashion, you will find the District 1 shopping street just 350Meter away the hotel.

The location is good and not bad, but I didn't feel noisy during the day, but it was very noisy at dawn. That's a shame. The fact that the 24-hour Poqueen is right in front is both an advantage and a disadvantage.

The place is great, its literally inside the sunset town! It is walking distance to the night market and the surrounding area is just peaceful & calm. There is a lot of buggy service to inside to take you around. The basic amenities in the hotel is okay, the TV is smart TV so can access to Youtube & etc. The reception is friendly & the room is quite spacious & the view is nice too.

The staffs were friendly and helpful. We arrived early so we were able to leave our luggages at the hotel first and walk around the area before the check in time at 2pm. We booked the Executive Room with the park view. The room was spacious with 2 beds (1 queen bed & 1 single bed). There were 2 windows overlooking the Central Park across the street. The room was clean. The bathroom had basic amenities like toothbrush, toothpaste, basic makeup kit & comb. The shower had hot & cold water. No bath tub. Location was strategic. 12 mins walk to Ben Thanh Market, 5 mins (or less) walk to Central Market/The New Playground (it was underground the Central Park across the hotel). We did last minute shopping at the Central Market. Very convenient! There was bus stop nearby (in front of Highlands Coffee) in case you want to take the public bus to other parts of the city. If you walk 4-5 mins crossing the park, you’ll find the street with soo many local & international brands for clothes, shoes & bags. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and definitely will come back.

The location is very good, clean and tidy, with a wide view. I would like to especially thank the hotel customer service staff, who patiently helped me change rooms every day. She spoke Chinese very well. After we checked out, she still helped me translate. She was a great help to me. Thank you very much to this little sister!

Just like online reviews are a clean and quiet hotel, walking out of the alley is the downtown area, food, clothing, housing and transportation are very convenient. The only downside is that the double room is in a high-rise building and there is no elevator to take. If the luggage is too heavy or people who are not used to walking too many stairs, it is recommended to book a triple room.
