This is a lovely and grand hotel, certainly has 5* feel, and service from the door (bell boy takes bags), you're served a welcome drink and towel.
The room is large, lovely and luxurious. The bed is soft, and there's an evening 'make down' service where the staff leave a small chocolate and leave your bed cover opened and easy to climb into.
The location is a 10 mins drive from downtown District 1, Grab drivers are readily available.
The breakfast was lovely and had a vast selection, including cooks for custom Pho or ommlettes.
I would stay again in a heartbeat
This hotel is very conveniently located where the popular areas in District 1 are within walking distance, including Ben Thanh Market and Nguyen Hue Walking Street. You will be staying right next to the Japanese Street. Good food and proper massage places are nearby. The staff are very pleasant, super helpful and all of them speak English. The first room I was provided had a smoky smell and without much fuss, the staff arranged another room for me almost straight away. I was there for a business trip and I really appreciate the prompt and helpful service.
it was an amazing stay!!! i would come back again
- room was clean and modern, spacious
- toilet had a bidet

- fresh towels and room cleaned daily loved that
- water cooler on level “M”
- breakfast spread was decent alright

- great location
amazing service and great amenities - pool, sauna
- great cafe downstairs
some little mishaps
- room door had to be pushed forcibly to shut it
- walls r quite thin so i could hear others talking from in the room the opposite room but its a minor issue because everything else in the hotel made the stay an amazing one

We enjoyed our stay, room size is a bit small but i liked the ambiance, we booked 2 bedrooms and my kids room is better ours and a bit bigger, they are same price. Sending my gratitude as they considered my husband to stay for a few hours while waiting for his flight at midnight as me and my kids will stay a couple days more. we enjoyed the Jacuzzi, swimming pool water temperature is a bit cold for me, the gym is great and i loved the buffet breakfast! Great location close to everywhere .
The hotel is new and overall the stay was good. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, and nice facilities. However, we were surprised that they charged for the laundry bag when we used it to keep our dirty clothes. It would be better if the hotel could clarify this policy upfront or provide complimentary laundry bags for guests.

Great location, upmarket hotel, beautiful pool. Not really a family hotel but it worked out in the end. Very prompt with a response to a complaint and fully addressed the issue, treating us with courtesy and generosity. Couldn’t fault their customer care in responding to to the issue. Minor issues with the room, we ran out of hot water every morning ( 3 occupants in a 2 occupant room) and the drapes didn’t fit the windows well enough to keep out morning light, so there were some early mornings but otherwise a very comfortable stay in a great location, walking distance to all the main central sights.

Hotel is located right in the centre of HCMC district 1. We were happy to have a spacious room with clean sheets and towels. Breakfast is just basic but sufficient for us to start the day. We walked to the MRT, Ben Thanh market and joined the locals for morning exercise at the park right infront of the hotel.
The staffs at counter could speak English and Mandarin well. They helped us to reserve a table for dinner, show us the boarding point for the sight seeing 'hop on and hop off' bus, which is only 3 minutes walk away. The door man borrowed us umbrella on a rainning day.
We really enjoyed our stay at Saigonciti Hotel A.
Good location, convinient, helpfull staffs and good value for money!

As someone who values convenience and the flexibility to return to the hotel throughout the day to freshen up, this place is perfect. We took Grab rides to various spots ranging from 350 m to 3 km, and the fare was only around 30 k–50 k VND (RM 5–8) during regular hours. It was easy to get a Grab since we were so central. There were also famous eateries open until the early hours of the morning, and a pho place right behind the hotel that opened as early as 7 a.m. It took us about 40 minutes on a weekday at 4:30 p.m. to reach the airport, mainly due to heavy traffic.
As for the stay experience, it was top-notch from the front office to housekeeping. What I personally care about most, as someone with eczema, is good bedding and quality pillows, and they were wonderful. The shower had high water pressure too, which was a major plus. We were able to store our luggage after checking out, and it was nice to feel like we were genuinely taken care of, if you get what I mean.
I do not think people should complain much about noise. If you are well-travelled, you would know that unless a hotel is newly built, there is only so much refurbishment can do to cushion the occasional sound from above. It is not paper-thin either, as I did not hear anything from next door.
If there is one thing I wish, it would be to have some sort of sign or indication for hotel drop-off at the entrance. Perhaps we were unfamiliar, but most Grab drivers seemed hesitant to drop us on the left side, so we often had to cross the street to get on and off our rides. This was not an issue for more seasoned Grab drivers who already knew about the off-road pathway for left-side pickup and drop-off.
We will be back! 😬😬😬
No need for photos because they look exactly the same as provided.

The room was good, the view was nice and the space was good, however, as 7M VND per night a room and 5 stars International brand hotel the minibar only provided coffee and basic tea. There is nothing provided for the customer to consume even if willing to pay but the refrigerator was empty. The sound isolation was so bad, people walking outside my room I could hear what they were talking about and the footsteps.
For the toiletries, a comb is not even provided to the female customer, so, is the hotel expecting all customers to bring their own?

GGuest UserThe apartment has a spacious balcony, cool and airy, with beautiful city views, especially at night. The interior is elegant, fully equipped and neatly arranged. The space is clean and comfortable, perfect for relaxation and rest.
GGuest UserGreat host who understands and provides excellent instruction and services.
Upgraded my room and kept the room available as I reach HCM in the wee hours via sleeper bus.
Room was clean and location was convenient.
KKAK WEIHad difficulties with the room card key, however it was sorted out after front desk asked the maintenance people to sort out the problem. Miss Jenne, the guest relations manageress promised to change our room the next day. All our bags were moved to the replacement room and a complimentary slice of cheese cake was placed in our room for the ”inconveniences” caused the previous night.
Breakfast was sumptuous with a mix of Western and local Vietnamese dishes to start the day.
Definitely recommended to stay for its location and nearby restaurants. The Street cafe which is located a few steps away from the hotel serves Vietnamese fusion food and is highly recommended.

AAlvin Ker Jia JunStayed here many time! Best hotel ever! My first choice whenever i come to hcmc. Big, spacious, clean and the staff are the best! Good location in the city area without much noise pollution
GGuest UserJust like online reviews are a clean and quiet hotel, walking out of the alley is the downtown area, food, clothing, housing and transportation are very convenient. The only downside is that the double room is in a high-rise building and there is no elevator to take. If the luggage is too heavy or people who are not used to walking too many stairs, it is recommended to book a triple room.

GGuest UserI stayed 2 nights in the dorm at Coucou Lê Thị Riêng — one night booked through an app and one night booked directly (you’ll get a better rate that way 😉).
Honestly, I was really satisfied with my stay!
The dorm is simple but super clean. Each bed has a privacy curtain, reading light, personal socket, and locker, so even though it’s a shared room, it still felt quite private.
The house is tucked away in a quiet little alley, just about a 5-minute walk from Bui Vien Street — very safe and not noisy at all.
On the ground floor, there’s a peaceful garden with greenery and a few seats to relax. It really feels like a calm hideout right in the middle of Saigon.
What I loved most was the vibe — friendly, relaxed, and not overly commercialized.
In the morning, they offer bread and homemade jam, plus there’s a shared kitchen and a chill living area for everyone to use.
The hosts were super sweet and helpful too!
If you’re looking for a place that’s affordable, comfortable, and not too hectic, Coucou is definitely a great choice!

JJIANGHONGThe location of the hotel is indeed very dominant, close to Fanwu Old Street, and the surrounding area is very lively. When I arrived at Saigon from the big coffee sleeping bus, I found that the drop off point was very close to the hotel. If you have a plan to take the bus to Saigon, choosing this hotel will bring you great convenience. Although I stayed in a windowless room, the room was definitely not small, the health was good, the bath was big, and the breakfast was good! The hotel reception desk was very helpful when going out to play. The downside of the hotel is that the price is slightly higher. I arrived at the hotel at four in the morning. At that time, the hotel had an empty room. I proposed to add money to make early check-in, but the price offered by the front desk was staggering. I proposed to pay for the breakfast on the same day and it took a few twists and turns. These are with me in Hue. There is still a big gap between the humanized quality services of hotels in Hoi An and Da Lat, which is disappointing.

GGuest UserSmall hotel, less than 5 minutes' walk to Pham Ngu Lao Street, no elevator, and the front desk can communicate in simple English. Hygiene: Tell the front desk that you need to clean, and then someone will come to clean. Facilities: There is air conditioning and a bathroom. Don’t think too much about anything else.
