This is an old hotel I often stay in. The location and service are ok, but the overall hotel facilities are relatively old. Some of the newly renovated rooms are not bad (the mattresses in the unrenovated rooms are too hard). The standard of the buffet is much simpler than before.

Good location, 15 minutes walk to the central post office in the city center, Tongchi Street, etc. There is a big supermarket next to it (the bank opposite cannot withdraw money because it does not have UnionPay China debit cards), travel agency (you can book long-distance bus tickets). The breakfast is good, the rooftop outdoor swimming pool is quite deep, very good. There is a bathtub for bathing. The TV has 4 CCTV channels, Phoenix TV and Star TV 3 Mandarin channels.

We stayed at the Victory Sai Gon for three nights. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Within walking distance of the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. The staff, both at reception and at breakfast, are very friendly and attentive. The hotel has a covered pool and a small gym. The rooms (furniture) are a bit dated. BUT everything is clean and tidy. Absolutely recommended for a 3-star hotel.

This is my second time here. The reception is open 24 hours a day, so I was able to check in smoothly even though it was a late-night flight.
It's a little far from the city center, but not too far to walk, so I'll definitely stay here again.
