I stayed here once before the COVID-19 pandemic, and this is my second time. The location is very good, very close to the Penang Market, and can be reached in five minutes on foot. The room is not big, but it has everything you need. The room price is cheap, but the facilities in the room are a bit old..

I originally booked 4 rooms for 2 nights for my friends. But my friends were scared by the small ants in the room, and two of them were woken up by bites during their afternoon nap!
Another problem is that the toilet was blocked and the air-conditioning was not cold enough, which affected the mood of the trip. We immediately booked another hotel that night and left. Unfortunately, my friends were in a hurry to leave and didn’t take any photos📷

In terms of location it is very good for the price. It also includes breakfast which is very good. Staff are friendly and helpful.
BUT
1) WiFi doesn’t work properly. It’s very bad. I have to take a chair and manually reset the router everyday
2) I found a cockroach in the room
3) I got bitten by mosquitoes. I stayed on the high floor
4) hotel is old and shower area looks like it’s falling apart
5) room not cleaned properly. There is dusk on the bed frame.
6) area for breakfast is too small. I can’t find a seat in the morning sometimes.
7) staircase is cluttered making it dangerous in the event of fire

The hotel is located within a 5-minute walk from Ben Thanh Market and the Reunification Palace. The street in front of the hotel is a little bit messy, but it's a normal street in Ho Chi Minh City so it doesn't bother me. There is a window in the room, but even on the top floor the view is not great. The bathroom and toilet are spacious and have a bathtub. It takes a while for hot water to come out so be patient. The smell is a little too much for my taste. The breakfast buffet was satisfying with pho and local dishes. The value for money is very good so I would like to use it again!
