At a price of about $20 per day, this is a normal option. District 7 is a little far from the center of Saigon, but it is also not bad in itself. There are parks and private houses nearby, where it is pleasant to walk! You can get to the center by bus (on one) and of course by taxi (it is not so expensive in Vietnam)
The apartments are relatively clean (for Asia). The furniture and rooms are not new, but they do not cause a feeling of disgust.
It is better to take a room with 1 bedroom. It is just that the studio is very compact in size.
