Vinhomes Central Park

Marketing photos misrepresent these ‘President Suite’ apartments. Landmark 81 is only 6 years old but maintenance & cleanliness are not their priority. The Kay’s Home representative disregarded my booking reservation quote, attempting to charge me more. Fortunately I was able to cancel my reservation after one night of my 9 day stay.

We booked a one bedroom apartment in the complex. The photos were great However we soon discovered they were either of another apartment or years old. We booked 3 nights and left after the first night. The lounge and bathroom were filthy. The sheets were dirty and the bed was like sleeping on the floor. We booked through bookings.com who were very helpful and supportive. But the owner blocked us from leaving a review. Do not waste your money. GO ELSEWHERE

The apartment was comfortable except the bathroom which was miniscule. The apartment we stayed at was not properly maintained and the host one Mr. David seemed unconcerned about us , the house keeping was poor and we felt unwelcome. The location of the building is good though.

Booked and stayed at this complex via AirBnb. This complex is very beautifully done and has the upscale feel written all over it. With the Vincomes mall at the centre and multiple eating options in each building, we were within grasp of everything we needed in a hop and skip. Pretty close to the city centre (about 80K VND to Ben Thanh market). The apartments were beautiful offering excellent views. The only problem was the lift keycard for going to your floor. Each tenant is only offered 1 card, so if you are to book multiple rooms or wish to visit another flat, you have to ask someone to come down meet you in the lobby to accompany you there.

We had booked three nights here for our last weekend of our three week stay in Vietnam. The apartment was nothing like that shown in the pictures. It was a bit horror story - grubby floors, dirty bath mats, ripped curtains, stained bedsheets, holes in wallpaper, tiny and threadbare towels and plastic dishes that were piled up as though someone had just rinsed them under a tap. The oven had been removed and left an open hole in the kitchen. The kitchen area was also smeared with grease. The website gave the impression we could use the complex swimming pool and gym but we were informed on arrival that our three nights meant we didn’t qualify for this perk. We were so shocked and disappointed and didn’t want this to be the end of what had truly been a fantastic time in Vietnam so we were forced to cancel on the spot and find a hotel downtown. Despite this we were still charged a cancellation fee of a one night’s accommodation. Despite everything the young man who was tasked with showing us the apartment was very courteous pleasant and apologetic and clearly was just doing his job. While this was not a good experience the rest of our holiday in Vietnam has been wonderful and full of great people.
