I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was simple and bright, offering a high level of comfort. The swimming pool was nice, and the breakfast was enjoyable. The location was very convenient; there were coffee shops nearby, and with just a short walk, I found a variety of restaurants and street food options. I even walked all the way to District 1, the city center, which had many attractions to explore, including the famous church and other tourist sites, all within walking distance. It was also super quick to get to the hotel from the airport; it took me just 15 minutes at night.
This was my third hotel during my 10 days stay in Saigon. The first one (Avanti) did not look anything like an online picture. The second hotel (California) was great, but I wanted get seaways from busy district 1. Lavis 18 is located in District 3, which is 5 min. Grab ride to the heart of District 1. This hotel room is studio apartment and more than large enough for 1 or 2 people. The room was prestine with a laundry washer, kitchen with basic stuffs and large fridge. There was some butt stains on the sofa, but not a big deal. The gym has a bench with many dumbells and a treadmill. The pool is clean and with working steam and dry sauna. The neighborhood is very local with many shops and eateries in every alleyway. Supermarket, ma assage, countless cafes are in short walk distance. If you decide to district 1, you will run into this tall tree lined street. Very scenic. Great for family with kids. Friendly staff. Well kept facilities. I highly recommend this residence hotel for every aspect of travelers.
Very good service and nice Hotel. Higher recommended!
The room is so clean and quiet. You can do your laundry and gym on the 11th floor for free. Recommended no matter for business or family trip.
Taxi here is so cheap, it only cost less than $4 and 30 minutes for taxi to the international airport. (Kl8:00-8:22)
We’ve been staying there for about 10 days, room is clean, equipped with a tiny kitchen with sink, microwave and induction cooker, cutleries and plates and necessaries equipment for simple cooking.
We stayed at floor 14 - love the city view, you can actually open the sliding door/window to feel the city vibe.
They have this high island table with 2 high chairs, a coffee table and one person reading sofa. Most of the time, I’ll be working from the sofa, the high island just felt too high for me to work with, with their stone surface, it felt so cold.
Amenities are basic, nothing fancy. Water pressure not very stable and they were broken on the second day, but the team fixed them immediately, seems like a problem that the service team familiar with.
Gym is fancy and high tech, you can connect your phone with their equipment with bluetooth, also you can refill water with your own bottle at gym. Sauna is available but I didn’t try them during my stay.
Breakfast buffet variable is limited, but everything is on point. There will be at least 3 course (mostly congee, noodles and meat), breads (baguette and white bread), cold cut, house-made yogurts with house-made jams and fruits.
Also, you can order noodles or omelette a la cart with coffee or your choice.
Service is friendly and attentive.
Location is near to multiple eateries and convenience store by walking distance.
My favorite fine dine nearby : Hoa Tuc Saigon and Home Saigon
There are also laundry service that can pick up from hotel - F5 laundry, price is reasonable and fast service.
Well as you enter the hotel a bad toilet smell hits you..
Furthermore the receptionists provide poor service
Despite our check in was at 1 pm and we arrived from Australia overnight ,having been tired ,sleepless and exhausted ,the receptionists did not care less and they did provide room just before 3 pm . Furthermore they insisted for 2000 Vietnam dongs as deposit when I refused as it did not mention the trip .com as condition of staying at the hotel ,then they demanded to hold my passport until we checked out . So wouldn't not recommend this hotel.
ne of my favourite hotels in Ho Chi Minh City, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The service provided by all the staff was outstanding—everyone was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of.
The hotel itself is very conveniently located. It’s within walking distance of many popular tourist attractions, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Whether you’re heading to Ben Thanh Market, the War Remnants Museum, or just strolling around the city center, everything is easily accessible without the need for a taxi or Grab.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I also really enjoyed the breakfast each morning—it offered a good variety of both local and international options, all fresh and delicious.
What stood out the most to me was the level of care and hospitality shown by the staff. It made a big difference and contributed to a truly enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City and look forward to staying here again in the future.
Great location: very close to the War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace, and Notre Dame Cathedral. Hotel has wide selection for breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, and spacious rooms. Worthy of its 4-star rating.
The Hotel stay was good and great 👍
But I think Reception needs to be more courtiers
and not informing the customers to get to the Bell Boys for every Request made in counter. Anyway my great pleasure to say thank you TC.

LLiyy217Chinese-style hotel, OK. The front desk speaks Chinese and feels bad. A friend went on a business trip and helped a friend to book for him. Location is within your ideal range.
SSGN WandererVery good location with a lot of restaurants around.
Room is too spacious, but clean. Bathroom, AC, TV, Fridge...everything is good enough.
Worth the price!

JJames1219The hotel continues to deliver good service. The team consistantly works well together, communicates in a timely manner. Rooms are clean, staff is efficient, and the parking staff pays attention to cusomers. Rooms are prepared, hallways are clean and smell good. The breakfast is good, but not great. That's ok.
