Ho Chi Minh City District 4 5-star Hotels

It's a serviced apartment with drive-in access. There's no front desk, but a nice guy came to pick me up after calling the number on the reservation. There's a security guard downstairs, and you need a key to access the elevator. Both bedrooms have queen-size beds. The living room is large, with a sofa and dining table. The decor is quite new. The windows overlook the street, so keep them closed at night to avoid the noise. There's a restaurant across the street. The city's attractions are within walking distance. The room had a strong aroma. The bathroom lacked a towel hanger and screens. Everything else was excellent!

Hotel staff were friendly, well-mannered, and professional in their service. Room cleaning staff were helpful and cleaned our room everyday, even if we put the ”Do Not Disturb” sign on our door. Room service was very easy and help was always provided very fast. The shower was great, easy to use, and always very clean. However, the hotel room is always a bit dusty, especially the window blinds and the bedside drawers. The pool could also be cleaned more regularly, as there are dirt particles floating around. The biggest pain point for us was that the food could be so much better! The afternoon tea was very bad and we only ate there once on our first day. I think you can serve fresh vegetable spring rolls as snacks instead of the ham bread, which was as dry as a rock. Most of the tea buffet provided were not edible. The breakfast was average too - we opted to eat outside at the banh mi carts and noodle carts, which tasted much better. I wish you can work together with some of these sellers to provide good local breakfast or afternoon tea. Besides that, the best point about Au Lac (other than the excellent service staff) is really the location. We never had to travel more than 15 minutes to any popular tourist location or shopping mall. We were so close to District 1 that our days were always fun and enjoyable to travel around. We really appreciated the central location so much. Overall, our stay at Au Lac was good.

I was told that I needed to change the room when I was approaching. The overall communication with the customer service is very tired. Every time I communicate a problem, I need to repeat it for a long time. I feel that I am communicating with the robot without any flexibility and timeliness. Maybe there are different people behind WeChat, and different people do not look at the historical communication records and handover work, resulting in a drop-off before and after the whole trip is communicated, and it is still very difficult to the end. The help of the hotel staff next door finally got on the car to the airport. I strongly recommend everyone here, or try to stay in the hotel, do not picture the room is large, the service quality and stability of the apartment is still too poor.

Had a truly wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. They were very helpful in arranging a room upgrade and even prepared a lovely surprise to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Really appreciated the thoughtful touches and warm hospitality.

Great staff at the reception - always willing to help, had a problem with the AC - solved quickly Be aware of the road closures because of the national holidays (plan ahead) - roads in the centre of the City will be closed and you won’t be even able to get to the hotel sometimes. An-okay gym at the rooftop with AC: I was able to do cardio etc. security guard had a little parrot friend :)

This is my second stay at this hotel. It's reasonably priced, the rooms are clean, and the minibar (stocked with mineral water, Coke, and beer) is complimentary. What I loved most was the hotel's buffet breakfast – it was incredibly diverse and plentiful. I'd absolutely choose this hotel again if I'm back in Saigon!

During a business trip to Ho Chi Minh City, I took the opportunity to bring my family along and stay at Hôtel des Arts Saigon. Ever since I first visited the hotel briefly, I had been longing to return—and this time, experiencing it with my family made it all the more special. Located in the heart of District 1, the hotel enjoys a prime location in the vibrant city center. As its name suggests, Hôtel des Arts is inspired by 1930s French Indochina, with an Art Deco style that runs seamlessly throughout the architecture and interiors. The public spaces are filled with carefully curated artwork and antiques, making the entire hotel feel like a living art gallery. Our room was on a high floor with a stunning city view—absolutely gorgeous. The rooftop bar was definitely a highlight. As my child put it, ”It's super chill.” From sunset to evening, there's live DJ music, and sipping a signature cocktail by the infinity pool while watching the sun go down was truly magical—perhaps one of the best rooftop moments in the city. The service was impeccable. From the moment we entered the lobby, to checking in upstairs, to being greeted at the rooftop bar, every staff member we encountered was polite, welcoming, and professional. In-room requests were handled promptly and efficiently. We also enjoyed the food very much. The Pho was especially authentic—whether served as room service or at breakfast. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the staff even remembered our table when we went to order from the live cooking stations—such a thoughtful touch. The hotel is within walking distance of many key attractions, which made getting around very convenient. The only minor downside was the Youth Center downstairs, which hosts various events and can be a little noisy during the day. But considering the central location, it’s a small trade-off for everything else the hotel offers. Overall, we had a truly relaxing and “chill” weekend as a family. Elegant, artistic, comfortable, and full of warm hospitality—Hôtel des Arts Saigon delivered a perfect urban retreat.
