nice hotel hear the station and attractions

Conveniently located a few minutes walk from the Himeji station. Typical Japanese hotel room but immaculately clean with simple amenities. The best thing about the room is the inclusion of a microwave which were appreciated.

There's nothing wrong with it, there are windows, and you can see the station outside, so it's not too noisy. It's very close to Himeji Station, less than ten minutes' walk away, and ten minutes' walk to Himeji Castle.

The area around the bathroom was full of dust. The bed was old and I could feel the springs hitting my body. There was no hotel staff at the front desk when I checked in or checked out.

Arrived in Himeji in the morning. The hotel is close to the station, so I went there to leave my luggage and go sightseeing. However, there was no one at the front desk and there was a sign saying "No service in the morning." I had no choice but to go back to the station and go to the coin locker. This should be stated on the reservation page. If that was the case, I would not have booked here. After sightseeing, I checked in in the evening. After checking in, I got on the elevator and there was trash here and there, and the corners of the elevator looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months, with clay-like trash stuck to them. When I got into the room, my slippers were mismatched. The bathtub was not cleaned properly and was rough when I rubbed it with my fingers. I've traveled for decades, but this is the first time I've seen such a dirty hotel. It's not Livemax, it's Garbagemax.

I stayed here on a business trip. It's about 5-6 minutes from the station, but Himeji Station is large, so it's a bit of a walk. The room key is a type that opens with a PIN code, and you are given a piece of paper with the code when you check in. It may depend on the room, but the temperature of the water coming out of the faucet in the bathroom sometimes suddenly gets hot, which surprised me. I was glad that there were more towels. People who wear leather shoes would be happy if there was a shoe horn. Luggage storage at the front desk is only available during hours when the front desk is open (from 8am. I forgot about the night time), so people who check out early in the morning like me may find it inconvenient.

Reasonable price, clean, old facilities, close to the station, convenient

I will never book this kind of hotel again. I can only mail my luggage at 10 o'clock in the morning. At least it is better than Kobe Sannomiya. The room is bigger than Kobe. Although it is close to the station, I will not book it again.
