GGuest UserI came to Huangyao with my family to participate in the 3rd Huangyao Marathon. We chose this hotel and stayed for three nights. I felt that the hotel not only retained the original historical architectural beauty, but also integrated modern decoration, plus high-end materials, which made us feel pleasantly surprised.
The key point is that the hotel owner is very enthusiastic and treats guests kindly and politely. He also personally took us to visit the three historical rooms of this hotel, as well as the back garden where the owner read in ancient times. The design style of the entire hotel shows that the hotel owner has put a lot of thought into it.

Oh, Huangyao Ancient Town is really a place with simple folk customs, beautiful scenery and picturesque mountains and rivers. It is a rare civilized and pure land far away from the worldly world. Sanitation: Very clean! We also upgraded to a room with a view. In the morning, we can see the beautiful scenery when we open the window. It's great!
Service: The boss is very good! We also gave them their specialty rice noodles and the fruit they picked, Wogan. I will definitely recommend it to my friends, especially sitting on the roof of his house to drink tea and enjoy the view. It is simply a paradise on earth.

Since we were going back to Nantian, the hotel owner Abu had already turned on the dehumidification in the three rooms we booked in advance. The most important thing was to provide disposable plastic slippers and toilet mats, so that I, who have a slight mysophobia, could really enjoy the stay. Experience what it means to feel at home! Speaking of service, the hotel will help with moving and introduce the scenic spots along the way, so that an unknown person followed us all the way to the hotel and asked for a business card. I will stay here again in the future because the service is so attentive. I saw the legendary three peacocks and a blue cat named Maharashtra, who was very dear to me. The Niu Ge breakfast shop next to the hotel is really delicious. Visitors who come to stay must try the fried silkworm glutinous rice and water chestnut noodles! Overall, this is a hotel with good service and warmth. I was in a hurry this time. I arrived at night and left the next morning. I did not fully explore the beauty of the ancient town. I will still stay here next time I come to Huangyao.
PS: The camellias in the hotel courtyard are blooming very brightly, and they even have a fragrance!

Beautifully decorated, it exudes authentic charm, but it feels more like a homestay than a hotel, with its pros and cons.
The warm landlady’s hospitality and generosity were slightly hindered by the language barrier (as we regrettably don’t speak Chinese). However, her helpful daughter bridged the gap via WeChat, providing tips, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth stay.
All in all, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a personal touch and a culturally immersive experience.
