Insula Alba Resort & Spa (Adults Only)

Wonderful 2nd visit to this hotel , and have booked again for next year. For us the location is perfect - right on the beach. Rooms were spacious with great air con which was quiet .We had a walk in shower which was appreciated as I have an ongoing knee condition and our room was flat with no steps down to the sunbed area. Towels were changed every day and the room was cleaned daily . Mini bar was replenished each day with a few cans of soft drink , beers and a type of sparkling wine , Lovely . The staff here are exceptional and really go out of way to make you feel welcome . Nothing is too much trouble , and sadly unable to mention them all .Big shout out to Manos at the pool bar who greeted everyone like his best friend and remembered our drinks daily ?!?! How does he do that ? . Also , many thanks to the guest relations Manager - who sorted out the room for us , she really is a fantastic asset to the Hotel and is probably the least mentioned . Food was extremely plentiful and varied each day - I’m not vegetarian but enjoyed the change of eating different foods that I would not normally eat at home - the chefs did a great job and the food was very tasty indeed. It’s a shame that the other holiday makers insisted on opening each of the serving dishes as they went by as the food would have been kept hotter if people just read the labels that were provided first before opening all the lids The restaurant was well managed , staff speedily bringing drinks and clearing tables all with a smile . The grounds were kept immaculately with people busy keeping it clean to a high standard . This is the very best of Crete for all the right reasons and I personally cannot fault anything . Sadly we have to wait until August 2026 to return .

Stayed for 7 nights in August. Arrived really late and lovely welcome with food and drink available. Shown to room and spotlessly clean. We have swim up room and you walked down from your balcony to your own beds. Food was excellent for buffet style always replaced and reasonably varied everyday. Poolside bar is brilliant, special mention to Manos, fantastic at his job and so friendly, saying that all staff were great. Would recommend this place to anybody.

Great hotel , lovely staff- the town is nice calm and welcoming so savour Analypsi and THAT sunset view every evening, Crete is breezy but it saves you from being baked alive, the swim up rooms are amaze we were lucky enough to have the rear facing ones . Just fab. Food- food was good, my advice? Go half board and eat out support the village - we did and some great places to eat locally. The best bit? The value for money . Very happy thank you
