This was the second year running that we have stayed at Galaxy Villas - and we think we’re pretty fussy - so whilst we understand it may not suit everybody, you have to appreciate that in terms of value for money, we feel that it’s outstanding. Whilst we accept that some things could do with a bit of updating, and that yes, softer mattresses would be appreciated, the hotel and its people for us anyway, are outstanding. We stayed for two weeks in one of their superior sea view villas (number 28). Yes it’s basic but it’s comfortable enough and very spacious. The staff at Galaxy are simply superb; so friendly and helpful. Regarding various comments concerning help with luggage, we don’t recognise these - we were offered and given help in both directions. The villas are clean (and kept clean). We would have no hesitation in staying here again, if/when we return to Koutouloufari.

Arrived late at night to a number taped on the door and the place locked which was pretty bad with a ratty 3 year old in a place we’d never been before. The villa has a child’s pool with no sun beds around it and barely any space for the chairs and tables where people eat. When we’ve placed them there they’ve been moved and taken away. The staff didn’t seem keen on having a child there (neither did the other guests but they should just book an adult only place). The staff seemed to interact with other guests more and ignored us as we were the only one with a child. Other guests came with cases and were helped but we weren’t on the way to checking out. We were also told we had to pay the tax there and then; other guests were told they can pay at the end. When needing to pay by card at the bar we were told no, even though there was a card machine. Hot water runs for a quick 2 minute shower. Needs updating. The cleaners and the lifeguard were the only really nice people and the view and access to the village is great for where the villas are. Just doesn’t seem the family friendly place it was sold to us to be by easyJet.

This hotel is not what is shown on the pictures. Very run down and needs much TLC. We booked dinner also and there was never a choice just one meal option. Rooms very dated… beds are solid!! And only enough hot water for one person. The reason this deserves 3 stars is due to the amazing staff… they are the best and always super helpful.

The pictures are not factual. The place is completely run down. We were told that we were being upgraded to a sea view room. It’s a basement room with box springs to sleep on. Since the room is two levels we can’t even get our luggage to the sleeping area. The hot water is non existent after one shower. There is trash everywhere each morning. Absolutely very dated. We were also told we would have breakfast every morning however if you have any excursions you will not have breakfast or even coffee since it isn’t served u til 9:00 am. There are many other very nice hotels on the same street. I’m would not recommend this hotel at all. It is barely a 1 star.

Great place, fantastic village, amazing weather. Ignore the fusspot who want perfection for £3.50. Staff are amazing, rooms are spacious. Yes there are dome improvements that could be made but none that should ruin your hiday unless you're a miserable git from up North. Beaches are great but choose those to the east where they're sandy. We went sfkf catering and ate and drank like royalty with what was on our doorstep. Great time of year to choose. Wouldn't have cone any later with the term dodgers rocking up late September with their kids. Locals are so friendly. Prices are UK equivalent so dont expect super cheap. Village a d restaurants are fantastic. You're on holiday. Enjoy. Leave the bitching and talking about why you can't buy a sausage roll till you get back to Manchester. Thankyou Galaxy. We love you

After a delayed flight we were unable to get access to the hotel. The accommodation was so dated , I was unsure if it was even safe to use. The shower head would not stay in place, the lights in the bedroom flickered on and off. The beds were really uncomfortable and the curtains were dirty, there was no kettle. Staff were friendly although they don’t offer a late checkout if you have an evening return flight. Food and drink were fine.

We arrived, due to late flight, at about 01.00 to find the hotel closed up for the night. A phone number taped to a door led to a message in Greek, of which I have none. After about half an hour we raised someone to take us to our room. The room was, at best, dated with seemingly concrete mattresses, dodgy electrics, a kitchenette from the 1960’s. All in all a very unsatisfactory experience.

Fantastic hotel tucked away in beautiful Koutouloufari. So welcoming and would recommend the breakfast as a great start to the day. Comfortable Villa , nothing fancy but immaculately clean and tidied each day. Didn’t really use the pool as we beached each day. Fantastic recommendation from Antonio of the Gorgono tavern beach which was superb. We like walking and it was about 3km but I’m sure taxis are readily available. Also went to Dio beach which was great. The Galaxy Villas are right in the village which has an abundant supply of restaurants. We ate in a different place every night and barely scratched the surface. Really lovely to come back from the beach each day and have a seriously cold beer from the Pool bar. Thankyou Galaxy Villas. A brilliant holiday.

I completely forgot to write this review in early May, so I apologise for the delay! We stayed for one week from late April to early May and had an amazing time. The pool is great to cool down in, we had no issues getting sun loungers by the pool and the hotel was very clean. We had a ground floor apartment that was very authentic Greek, with a lovely patio area to have a drink on. The staff were all amazing, friendly and happy to chat - reception was great and I loved having a pool table available. It’s a short walk to bars and restaurants and Koutouloufari is beautiful. We will definitely be returning!
