Marni Village

Our stay was like a dream, if that dream involved a pristine pool, endless relxation and our lovley cleaner called Olga! The resort itself was lovely- three pools, a snack bar for when hunger strikes and rooms which were self catering! However, Greek night? More like Greek Not. What a disaster. The town was not good for adventures, and whatever you do- avoid Billys Taverna. The roads were a lawless wasteland and was like a game of crossy road. But apart from that, we would definitely come back!

Lovely accommodation, lovely staff. Close to the beautiful Village centre. Our second visit to Marni Village and it won't be our last. The accommodation and grounds are lovely. You are treated like old friends. we have recommended this place to so many friends, all of whom have returned year after year.

Just back from 11 days. The most relaxing holiday we have had in a while. We stayed in a 2 bed luxury villa. The whole place was spotless throughout, the decor was well thought out and the cleaning lady Lambrini (forgive my spelling) kept the place beautiful for us, clean towels daily and bedsheets when we asked (sometimes I felt they didn't need changing). Great facilities in the room for self catering. The private pool was a huge plus for our 3 children, they spent their entire time in there. It was so handy to not have to pack a bag and head to find 5 loungers together. We visited the main pool twice , beautiful as ever. Our children loved marnis pizzas which meant we only ventured out one night. A special mention of thank you to Thanos , a gentleman who brought our bags up and delivered the pizza. He is a real asset to Marni and always had a smile. We were in 906 , we slept sound every night, we didn't hear a cricket! Very peaceful. The whole resort is absolutely spotless throughout , I saw 2 gardeners daily , a gentleman cleaned our pool , the team of staff are why Marni is so successful. We first went in 2012 and there are faces since way back then. This is our 4th time to Koutouloufari, the most beautiful little village , it certainly won't be our last. Kind of want to keep it a secret for myself and not tell everyone but this place IMO will take some beating! We stayed in a villa with a pool with our teenage boys, I think families with young children might struggle there’s no slides kids clubs disco etc, The village is filled with authentic bars & eateries, and the bakeries were a hit ! My husband and I and our 4 year old daughter have just returned from what would be our 6th visit to Marni and the place just gets better and better. Previously we have stayed in studio apartments and a one bed apartment and this year we pushed the boat out and treated ourselves to a two bed luxury villa. We were truly spoilt and would struggle to stay in anything less in future given the luxury we had this time around. The villa was exactly like shown in the photos on the website of Marni Village. It was very spacious, absolutely spotless and very modern, plenty of crockery etc in the kitchenette where we made breakfast and lunch every day. The outdoor pool and terrace space was incredible. The pool was huge and the loungers were so comfy and there was an outdoor dining table and chairs and a smaller table and chairs also. The pool was fantastic and kept so clean. The views of the sea and mountains from the villa were like nothing else, sitting outside at night was so peaceful. We had villa 908 which was very private and not overlooked by anyone. The bedding is changed along with towels every 2 days with daily house keeping and there were also slippers provided and pool towels, which were changed regularly. The staff at Marni can not do enough and always go above and beyond. We didn't use the main pools as much this time round given we had one to ourselves, but they were still as well kept and clean as on previous visits. The pool bar at Marni was lovely for a freddo espresso and ice cream during the day. We ate out alot of evenings but chose to eat in more than we've ever done given the outdoor dining space to enjoy, with room service being ordered on our last night which was handy. I have recommended Marni to many and will continue to do so, for couples or families alike. We will definitely be back again in future.
