All of the staff were amazing. Super friendly and helpful. They took care of us like family. Especially the beach bar staff were #1. We were with a large group of friends and they were so attentive and added a lot of laughter and fun to our experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stay was good but I indicated 2A2C and this was not provided and we had to pay additional for 2 children and the price to pay at the hotel counter was at open rate and not at the child rate indicated in your email confirmation.

Nous y avons séjourné durant nos vacances en Crète pendant 10 jours , Accueil super. Chambre incroyable repas varier et excellent allez y. Situation de l’hôtel pas très loing du centre ville avec une superbe belle plage juste en face. Je recommande fortement.

Die Hotelanlage des Laguna ist weitläufig und absolut top gepflegt. Das Haupthaus ist sehr großzügig gestaltet und wirkt elegant. Wir hatten ein traumhaftes Zimmer mit Meerblick und seitlichem Poolblick in einem Haus nebenan. Das Zimmer war ebenfalls großzügig und wirklich top gepflegt. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und außerordentlich bemüht. Die Themen-Restaurants, die man im Rahmen des Aufenthalts einmalig dazu buchen kann, liegen sehr schön und man isst "a la carte". Das Essen ist aber nicht wirklich besser als im Hauptrestaurant (mit Buffet). Dort wird man generell platziert (sehr angenehm, so rennen nicht ständig Leute mit vollen Tellern auf Tischsuche rum). Das Essen ist in Anbetracht der Gesamtgröße der Anlage reichhaltig und gut. Das Salatbuffet, die Auswahl an warmen Gerichten und Desserts - alles sehr gut. Und überall freundliches, engagiertes Personal. Der Strandabschnitt des Hotels ist schmal und nicht sehr groß. Der "Sand" ist grob, Baden geht nur mit Badeschuhen (teilweise felsiger Untergrund). Der Pool vor dem Haupthaus ist beheizt und ausreichend groß - allerdings ein Sanierungsfall. Es fehlen am Boden inzwischen diverse Mosaikfliesen, was nicht immer angenehm ist. Aber auch am Pool: Toller Service bis an die Liegen. Die sind zwar nicht allzu neu, aber ok. Und Pool-Handtücher bekommt man jederzeit frisch im Mini-Market des Hotels. Wir haben mal nachgefragt, warum da. Man habe alles probiert, von Zimmerservice über morgendliche Ausgabe direkt am Pool usw. - die jetzige Lösung funktioniere am besten. Unser Fazit: Das Hotel trägt den Zusatz "Selection" (wir kennen auch andere Mitriss-Hotels ohne diesen Zusatz) zu Recht. Es sind Kleinigkeiten, aber die machen das 100%ige Wohlfühlen aus. Nicht unser letzter Besuch hier!

Lovely hotel great staff always kept clean had an enjoyable 7 nights here. Few reasons why I gave a 4 star is number 1 I think the food in the buffet restaurant needs improving, quite bland and repetitive, pool bar is totally under staffed, rushed off their feet and also crepe and waffle bar could do with more staff got 2 people working there and all tables full waited over an hr for our crepes to come. Also in the morning the bring all the water bottles etc to the pool bar on a pallet and leave them in blazing heat for hrs and when guests are hot last thing they want is Warm water. Think i managed to get 1 cold one all week. Number 2 would be the room, lovely room nice and clean but the bed situation was awful, double bed nice and comfy but expected my 15 year old son to sleep on a rock hard short narrow sofa which I found absolutely ridiculous for a 5 star hotel, if it's a family room it should have a second bed or minimum sofa bed this was neither and when I asked reception they said there were no more rooms available. We had to take it in turns sleeping on it as it was giving my son a bad back. See pic attached. Apart from that the holiday was great good pool entertainment good facilities never have to worry about a lounger always plenty and we went in peak times and if anyone goes early to reserve then the pool guys remove them. All in all brilliant time I just think with those improvements the hotel would be that much better

Recently returned home from another holiday at this beautiful hotel and can’t wait to visit again! At the airport, we were picked up by Dimitris our lovely driver. What an amazing welcome we received. There is a real warmth to this place because of all the wonderful staff. We have made some real friends and are made to feel a part of the Mitsis family. All the restaurants serve delicious food and the bars serve every type of drink you can imagine. The staff (too many to mention every name) are very friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great holiday. There are several pools but we mostly used the main one where Toto, played a fantastic variety of music during the day. There were several activities offered and we took part in the aqua aerobics, darts and botcha (bowls) with David and Toto, which was great fun. No pressure to do anything but many things on offer if you are interested. There is an obvious presence of senior management who are always making sure everything is running as it should. They are happy to chat with holiday makers and interested in theirs views of the hotel. We had fabulous people serving our drinks around the pool, Billy who was quite new to the Laguna but very attentive and the lovely Maria who made us laugh every day! Its the only hotel we’ve been to where we really get to know all the staff by name. Even the lifeguard Odysseas made time to chat now and again. The evening entertainment was very good too. Thanks to everyone for making our holiday amazing!

We had a great family holiday at the Laguna. The kids loved the pools and the play area. The variety of food was amazing and the staff all so helpful and friendly. Great service around the pool and at the buffet, restaurants and bars. Our room was kept lovely and clean and well-stocked. Already planning our next holiday here!
