The room is relatively simple but clean, including disposable slippers. The breakfast on the 6th floor is also relatively simple, but the view is excellent. You can see the Venetian Castle on the seaside of Heraklion. It is also very close to various attractions.

The Marin Hotel is located near the ruins of the ancient city, close to the city center, and has excellent accommodation. It is very convenient to eat and shop nearby. The owner is also warm and thoughtful, the breakfast is rich and there is an unparalleled sea view.

フェリー乗り場から徒歩で10分ちょっと、バスターミナルからも同じくらいです。少し坂を昇るか階段を昇るのでそこだけ大変ですが、ロケーションは良いと思います。自分はフェリー乗り場には結局配車アプリを使って行きましたが。 普通に清潔で泊まる分には何の問題もないホテルです。チェックインもお昼くらいでしたが早めにしていただけました。ドライヤーもあるし必要十分なホテルでコスパが良いのでオススメです。

We were booked here as part of a tour with AC Vacations. This was the last hotel, and after a string of very nice hotels, this place was the worst. Peeling paint, door lock that doesn't work, tired carpets, dated decor, scuff marks on the walls etc. Basically beat up. We didn't book this ourselves, so if you have a choice... Some positives: location is handy for the attractions in Heraklion (but the neighborhood is a little dirty and sketchy, homeless people etc.). The beds were comfy, the breakfast room has a nice view, and the food was adequate for fueling up for the day. That's about all the good things I can say. I am going to write AC (for whatever that's worth) and tell them this place was the turd on the sundae of an otherwise great trip. I always feel a little bad giving a bad review, but hopefully someone finds this useful and the review will ultimately do some good.
