Heraklion Prefecture Hotels with Gym

Overall, I was very pleased with my choice of hotel. My room overlooked the main square (which was undergoing renovation) and, being on a corner on a high floor, gave good views of both the city and the sea. The decor of my room was a little jaded and well-worn, but it was otherwise clean and comfortable; and it was very enjoyable to sit on the balcony watching and listening to the world below. Breakfast was very pleasant with plenty of choice, especially the local savoury and sweet options. I stayed for 6 nights and found the staff friendly and helpful throughout my time there. The hotel is very conveniently located being close to a number of sights and numerous eateries, all within easy walking distance. The bus stop for Knossos is almost outside the front door, for the airport a few metres away across the road, and there is a mini-mart next door.

This hotel is magnificent The General Manager heads a brilliant team who cannot do enough for you Alexandras The Executive Chef is in charge of the a la carte restaurants and cannot do enough for you Fabulous meals All the team are superb but those who really made us both feel special were: Costas who looked after us whichever bar we were in, also Sotos, Llana, and Maria The bar manager Adrias has an excellent team, and appears at every bar to ensure everything is perfect Food quality, presentation and service were all excellent at the a la carte restaurants We have been to this hotel 12 months ago and were surprised to find that the main restaurant was even better than last year Reception staff and concierge always greeted you with a smile, Michalis was really helpful with everything

We have just spent a week in this well run hotel. We picked it based on great location and previous reviews. We received a lovely welcome and just about the right details to take in on arriving. Parking was explained and we only had to pay one out of seven nights at the city parking. The rooms are well appointed with great WiFi, lovely beds and the best showers I’ve come across in a hotel in ages. We given a very good list of local recommendations of places to eat. All easy walking distance. We had the best night sleep and yes you can see the planes but they stop at night and your on island you can hardly miss them completely. You can also see the harbour which is lovely to watch. The breakfast team are very friendly and can’t do enough for you getting me gluten free bread and espresso coffees. The selection of food on the buffet is excellent and the best Greek honey ! The hotel has a lovely bar again great staff. I did use the gym most mornings sadly no free weights but I still managed a good workout. We used the roof top pool and lay out a couple of times and enjoyed bar food delivered to us on the roof. Really good snack menu. We mostly drove to the beach but the pool is nice if you can’t and good sunbeds in the sun and towels provided for the pool. We are well travelled and chose this hotel based on previous travellers reviews and it was perfect for exploring this lovely city. Highly recommend as a great base . Thank you

This is a veritable hotel in Europe,  very cost-effective hotel.  Not only has a historical sense, but also the room area is large, the items are well equipped, the quality is good, the service is warm and thoughtful, the breakfast is rich, and the quality of the ingredients is high.

It is only one block away from the shopping and pedestrian street, only a 5-minute walk from the beach, and only 4 kilometers from the airport. The suite is great, with a balcony. The hotel is clean and tidy. The original check-in at 2 pm was very intimate and informed that you can check in at 10 am. If you still go to Crete, you will definitely choose this hotel. The only thing missing is that there is no gym.

Having travelled across Crete on an exceptionally hot day we navigated the often mad roads of Heraklion to find this gem of a place. Brilliant staff, apartment and amenities!! We found the apartment to be very modern with all the mod cons and more! The staff were very locally knowledgeable and generous with their time and assistance. We couldn’t recommend this highly enough. As a family of four it’s often hard to do these kind of trips well and we needed a one night lay over in comfort prior to an early ferry to Santorini. I only wish we’d planned an extra night here to chill in luxury a bit more. The pool Is hilariously tiny but good fun and not to be avoided even if there are others enjoying it’s bijou status. There is a decent sized gym with treadmill and various weightlifting gadgetry too! Just book it!

Brand new beautifully executed smart hotel in the heart of Heraklion! A family group of twelve stayed here while traveling to Crete, Paros and Athens and this was a favorite. We only stayed one night but loved our visit. The hotel is modern and classic at the same time with beautiful marble finishes. When our group arrived, we were greeted at reception to sign in on iPads. Afterwards, several of us were upgraded gratis to luxury rooms. It was over hundred degrees in Heraklion so we headed up to the rooftop pool and bar which had a view of the distant sea. It was a perfect way to ride out the heatwave. The AC was superb, the bed amazingly comfortable with crisp clean linens. The shower was huge as was the double vanity sink. There were robes, slippers, a coffee and tea maker, a safe and iron. There was even a small private balcony to hang our wet bathing suits out to dry. It is located within walking distance of the lion fountain with many nearby restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this hotel. And hope to return.

The location is very good, very close to various attractions and museums. All kinds of service facilities are complete. The room is clean and the corridor has a disabled ramp for the convenience of travelers. Warm service. Breakfast was good.
