Ms. Karen at the Bistro is one of my favorites as I travel through GA. She is so welcoming, kind and attentive to all guests. Even when she incredibly busy, she is still amazing!!! Kudos to the rest of the staff as well

I walked in with my reservation and confirmation number in hand with the quoted price on it, there was even an answer to a question I had asked on the reservation email. Even though I had that information they could not find my reservation. They had a room available for over 200 dollars more than my quoted price. If they agree to allow others to make reservations for them they should honor the reservation and price. Management was useless to help with this situation. In addition to this, the TV in my room did not work and the water in the shower took way too long to heat up, just when I decided to take a quick cold shower the water began to warm up. From the time I walked in this was my worst hotel experience ever. I will say that some of the people who work there were pleasant.

Very nice hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. I didn't get to use any of the amenities since we were out and about in the city but I enjoyed my stay.

We had originally booked a 5-night stay at this Courtyard location, but unfortunately ended up checking out after just one night due to a series of disappointing experiences that did not meet the Marriott standards we’ve come to expect—especially as Gold Elite members. Upon arrival, there was no warm welcome. We stood in the lobby for several minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Once checked in, there was no recognition of our Gold status, which has always been a part of our experience at other Marriott properties. We had booked a more expensive rate that included complimentary breakfast for two, but were told at check-in that no such rate was listed. I showed the front desk agent the confirmation on my phone, and while she said she’d make a note, the issue wasn’t properly resolved. The next morning, my husband—who needed to leave early for business—was met with a closed restaurant and a dismissive employee who told him no Courtyard offers complimentary breakfast. That interaction alone set a very frustrating tone for our stay. We also had requested a rollaway bed during booking for our child, but this was never acknowledged. After several hours and no bed, I ended up locating housekeeping myself. Thankfully, one kind staff member was able to get the bed to our room by evening. The indoor pool was another letdown—it was uncomfortably cold, not clean, and oddly humid inside the pool area, which made the air thick and muggy. The adjacent hot tub was lukewarm, and the jets were non-functional, making it essentially unusable. After calling Marriott corporate to clarify our breakfast-included rate, I was connected to Jessica at the hotel who was kind and helpful. She offered a pastry or bagel to go, but that wasn’t an adequate replacement for the hot breakfast we booked (especially for someone who starts their day with a full meal before a long commute). To their credit, management allowed us to check out early without penalty. However, I still had to wait six hours in a muggy lobby with my two small children and all of our luggage until my husband finished work and could meet us. We transferred to the Residence Inn McDonough just ten minutes away, and the contrast was immediate. Warm smiles, cookies in the lobby, a clean and heated pool—even outdoors—and a genuinely welcoming environment. In short, our experience at this Courtyard location was frustrating and fell far below Marriott’s usual standards. I cannot recommend this property based on our visit.

Employees were very nice and helpful. It was quiet. Food was very good.
