Mary and Sebastian were the best . Love this hotel. Late night drinks from the bar, and great service. Room is nice and clean. Pizza was fantastic. Love the free parking service. Both very super kind people. 😊 Definitely recommend. Will be back.

Me and my partner stayed here with other family members and we could not fault it! Mary on reception was brilliant gave us all the information of hotel we needed and the room was spotless and smelt fresh We decided to have breakfast the next morning before heading to harry potter and the choice was vast, fresh and tasted so nice The young manager saw us out and was very professional asking us how our stay was and hoped we enjoy our day ahead 10/10 customer service from the whole team

Hotel was terrible. Used for temporary accommodation by the council. Not informed and still paid £200 for 2 nights stay. Should’ve stayed at Holiday Inn down the road. Staff do not care. Vending machine is broken (warm drinks). Drinks smell. Drunk people outside the hotel drinking from wine bottles in plastic bags. Just do yourselves a favour and don’t bother stay here and go Holiday Inn down the road. I wish I had.

Sadly this is my first ever bad review in all the years I have been staying at hotels all over the world, So a sad day for me indeed! I had the unfortunate experience of staying here for work for 2 nights. On arrival we were greeted by lots of individuals all with a bottle of wine in there hands and more in bin bags outside the hotel, on entering and going to reception and passing individuals in pyjamas holding ice buckets with bottles of wine in we found out that they were living at the hotel. Now I must add I have no problem if people in difficulties need help but what did not like was we paid £100 a night and were not informed about this arrangement with the hotel so we could make a decision based on what was happening here ! All of our stay we felt unsafe and unhappy. The staff working tonight 24/07/25 19:00pm have been totally unhelpful for example I prepaid for evening food which was £14.50 I did not feel majorly hungry so asked for the lite bites which was £11.50 however the staff said they could not do this even though it was cheaper and I asked them if they could help and they outright refused which upset me even more the staff members names where Mahesh and Sebastian they were very rude and so unhelpful, I then asked to talk to a manager or supervisor and they bluntly said no one here to help you ! I have stayed at many many Travelodges via work and pleasure but after this experience will definitely not be staying with them anymore my work colleagues were also upset they all agreed that this will be our last time for work we will choose Travelodge ! In my opinion dodge this hotel like the plague misinformation rude unhelpful staff and a general feeling of unsafe environment inside and outside the hotel. A Real sad day for Travelodge, They need to let paying customers know what is happening and allow them to make a decision based on that ! Only gave a 1 rating as could not give zero!

For us this was a very convenient Travelodge for visiting family. Reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. One room for our stay was an accessible one and we were very kindly asked how we would like the bed to be etc. The breakfast was of good quality and the staff were very obliging if we needed anything else. We have used this Travelodge before and will definitely use it again. Fortunately this time our rooms were on the same floor which is extremely useful and convenient as my mother in law is 90 and in a wheelchair .

Due to a family party, i suggested to a number of my relatives that they stayed here. As a result we all met in the bar on a Friday night, there were about 12 of us. Unusual place to meet for a night out! The bar men were excellent. Very helpful especially as there were some language barriers. The bar was clean and tidy and and my relatives enjoyed the food. It was also easy for the relatives staying at the town centre hotel to get there - but don't book a reserve Uber! very expensive. My relatives are a little older and don't use Trip adviser but they told me the hotel was beautifully clean and tidy, and the reception desk (Mary??) was very helpful.
