Opposite the train station, take the 3-way tram 7 stops to reach the hotel. Although it is a bit far from the city center, the surrounding traffic is very convenient. Buy a day traffic card and basically finish the main attractions. The key hotel is good value for money, breakfast is very rich, room Quiet, very satisfied.

Choosing a hotel near the train station is a great option for convenient travel. The breakfast was fantastic, and having two connecting rooms was very practical. The hotel staff were also incredibly nice.

We had a great few nights stay at Scandic Grand Central. The check-in process was smooth- The hotel even provided an online check-in option that would also notify us when our room is ready so that we can check in earlier. The room was a little smaller than we imagined but nevertheless well-equipped. The breakfast buffet is a MUST- There's a wide variety of food and they are all scrumptious. The staff was warm and accommodating- Big thumbs up to the cleaning staff who greeted us everyday without fail with the biggest smile on their faces. The location is also fantastic-Its very central so all the tourist attractions and transport is within walking distance.

Located next to the train station. Excellent location. Clean room. Rich buffet breakfast. Three people can share a room for a day. Extra bed is free. The extra sofa bed is also very big. Will stay again

It takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the central train station. Because of the slope, although the straight-line distance is not far, it is still a bit difficult to walk with a suitcase. The hotel is very good overall, but the surrounding area is under renovation. There was originally a park behind, but it seems to be blocked. The lobby is very beautiful, and there are ice lemonade, snacks, and fruit supplies. The waiter is also very nice, but the room is very small. I can't see the area when booking. I guess it's only 15 or 16 square meters? We almost had no place to put our two large suitcases. Fortunately, the bathroom is not bad and not small. The room is also very clean. It takes ten minutes to walk to the White Church and ten minutes to the pier. There is also a bus stop downstairs, which is quite convenient. You have to take a bus or an electric scooter to go to the Rock Church, Sibelius Park, etc. Overall, except for the small space, it is not bad, and the breakfast is also very good.

This amazing hotel is centrally located, very spacious, clean, the lady in the reception gave a room with view, it's amazing to wake up to Helsinki town view for two morning Breakfast was good with good variety of food, I get to try the local delicacy It is centrally located, all the attraction is well within walking distance or tram ride away Will definitely stay again if I get the chance

Overall, my recent stay with Bob W was disappointing. I booked the 4-person penthouse room primarily for the use of the sauna on my last day of the trip. Firstly, pin code provided was only valid for door access to the stairs, not door to the elevator side at night. This became a significant inconvenience, especially for a female traveler like myself who arrived at night after a tiring flight. Having to carry a 20kg luggage and a 10kg carry-on up five flights of stairs was both physically demanding and frustrating. Clear arrangements on how to access the elevator at night should have been considered for guest. Secondly, check-in process was not clearly communicated, causing panic upon arrival. Unfortunately, I had to seek help from customer service on a third-party booking site and reach out via email to obtain a check-in link, which added unnecessary stress and confusion. Furthermore, instruction for turning on the sauna were unclear, and I was unable to enjoy it until the next morning at 8am, just few hours before my checkout time. I had specifically chosen the penthouse room with the sauna for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. due to the lack of clear instructions, and had to seek assistance to figure out how to operate it properly, which ate into the limited time I had available to enjoy the amenity. In conclusion, my stay with Bob W fell short of my expectations. The limited time to enjoy the amenities, issues during the check-in process and accessing the elevator, made for a less than satisfactory experience. I hope that Bob W seriously takes feedback into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more enjoyable stay for travelers in the future. Thank you

Good value art deco hotel for a three night stay. Exceptional breakfast. Not very helpful pre advice about location. So… If you are coming from Helsinki port (eg ferry from Tallinn), get the tram 7T to Kaisaniemenpuisto. Then a short walk to the hotel. Tap and pay at the ticket machine for €3.20 one way, zone AB. From Helsinki airport, get the train to Helsinki main train station, 33 mins, tap and go, zone ABC. To get there walk down the road for 7 to 10 mins; contemplate some cobbled streets when wheeling luggage, but not an issue.  NB Helsinki Kampii is the main BUS/COACH terminal that you may use to go to Porvoo for a wonderful daytrip; a bit more of a walk from the Arthur Hotel ( use Google maps). Not to be confused with the Art Deco train station. All are walkable.  Finally, a visit to Suomenlinna (zone AB tap & go) is recommended along with Senate Square/the Cathedral & the Russian Cathedral. Great restaurant for Finnish food and beer under €7 is Ravintola Kolme Kruunua. Lovely shops at the harbour stalls & Craft Corner. Take a walk down the Esplanade.
