The breakfast is amazing and the staff are very friendly. The location is perfect for exploring Helsinki. The room was nice.
Room for improvement: we asked to have the room cleaned one day and the cleaner came, but they did a pretty sloppy job. Several of our items had been tossed on the floor or under or behind the bed when they made the beds. And they did not take out the bathroom trash or clean the bathroom at all.

It was great and amazing experienced during my 2 day stay in this hotel. The people in reception area was very polite and welcoming. The location is very accessible and close to some of the most common tourist attractions and tourist spot. And what I like very most is the luxurious and plentiful food during breakfast. You have plenty of food to choose with and very delicious. Thank you very much.

Several of hair of previous guests left out from room cleaning and some of missing amenities, but overall service and staff’s welcoming attitude made our stay in Helsinki very grateful.
Thanks especially to attention given to my sick friend!
We would definitely to stay again when go back to Helsinki!

Felt this was a real win. Great breakfast, really nice lounge area, friendly helpful staff, very clean and stylish rooms, HDTV etc. The restaurant was closed unfortunately but can recommend the Thai restaurant across the road.

It was tired for the long train to Helsinki , and the weather is super cold that night.
We needed some hot water and we requested kettle from the reception.
We were very surprised and felt warm when received kettle with hot chocolate.

Very central location just opposite the famous Stockmann department stall. Easily walkable to many attractions, museums, shopping areas and restaurants. About 10mins walk to Helsinki Central Station which links up to the airport through rail. Our room (triple room) was quite spacious and well-furnished. Hotel also allowed us to place luggage in cabinets that comes with its own key, free of charge, after we checked out.

The free buffet breakfast is a great perk, and the ambiance is lovely! Definitely recommend. It offers excellent value for money, and luggage storage is available, which is really convenient. Check-in was super easy – just needed my passport number. Plus, its central Helsinki location means getting around is a breeze.

The room's air conditioning was inadequate, making it quite stuffy in the summer. I went down to the lobby to call the reception, but the phone rang endlessly with no one answering (it didn't seem like they offered 24-hour service). Lobby phones are complimentary. However, do not use your personal phone to call reception, as it costs €0.79 per minute. The hotel is inexpensive, so it's acceptable given the price. Its main advantage is the convenient transport links.

Good location, walking distance from the central rail station so it's easy to get there by train and air. Very clean and new as well. Very helpful staff, great variety of food for breakfast. Accessible to most of the tourist attractions and shopping districts of the city, and a free sauna and swimming pool for the guests, will definitely book again when I return

AAnonymous UserThe hotel check-in experience was good, the front desk guy was very enthusiastic. It's not far from the train station and there is a park nearby for walking. The breakfast and dinner on the first floor of the hotel are very good. It's a pity that the temperature of the sauna room doesn't seem to be able to go up.

AACHSBeyond my expectation. Hotel was super clean and amenities is beyond (honey, sweets, ear plugs, slippers, you name it you got it) and up to par with big chain hotels. If there’s insufficient amenities,, you can pick it up from the hotel lobby.
Breakfast selection was great and super yummy! Their sausages was and bacon was so good!
Location is just a 10 min walk to the central train station.
The staff was totally excellent and so very helpful in every way.
Will definitely be back if I’m ever in Helsinki!

VVon30Overall stay was ok. However room design was very weird. Bathroom floors were not heated which wasn’t great during the cold weather. Tried calling reception several times to request for an extra heater as the room heating wasn’t sufficient. Nobody answered and had to go down to reception to request for one. Funny thing is even the reception staff was not aware if it was available.
I have never been to a hotel where the staff at reception would answer me with “I don’t know” or I’m not sure, I need to check. Breakfast spread was good with many choices.

LLulumanyoujiThe location is very good, just a few minutes walk from Helsinki Railway Station. The location is bustling, it is convenient to go to the shopping pedestrian street and various tram stations. The hotel is an old European-style building, the lobby is beautifully decorated, especially the old-fashioned elevator is very interesting. The front desk staff of the hotel is also very nice. The room is small, the Nordic minimalist decoration is clean and exquisite.

GGuest UserThe best youth hostel I've ever stayed in. Coming here is like coming home. Everyone takes off their shoes at the door to ensure the cleanliness of the environment, and the hotel provides free comfortable slippers. The curtains on the bed are a plus, allowing everyone to have their own private space. The location is convenient, there are more than three bars at the door, and it is within a ten-minute walk to the central station. Opposite is the largest shopping mall in Helsinki. There are no shortcomings in the hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a relatively quiet neighborhood, with very good restaurants and small shops around, and it takes ten minutes to walk to the market square. There is its own parking lot, and the luggage is directly into the room, which is very convenient.
The hotel staff is warm and patient, helping to get cross-border ferry tickets.

BBrandorkslashdonDon’t ever book this on Trip! If you want to stay here, book it on its official website instead because there is no front desk as you will receive a code for you to check in instead. I had to make a roaming international call to get my PIN code because Trip didn’t send it to me and it cost me €16 to make that call, not to mention the confusion and hassle. Management should also take blame for this and ensure that if the bookings are made through third party apps, that the customer properly gets the information required.
The room itself was very clean and tidy and the location was great as well. There’s a nice Chinese restaurant called Nanking and some other nice bookstores, cat cafe, *** friendly bar etc in the neighbourhood.
