Heidelberg Hotels with Airport pickup service

The whole hotel is kept at 22 degrees C during winter. The rooms are even hotter at about 24C. This is T-shirt temperature. We didn’t pack any tshirts for our Germany winter vacation. The rooms a/c unit wasn’t working so got moved to another room that’s a/c also wasn’t working. Got moved to a third room that’s a/c was working but only to discover that it only blows hot air. I opened the windows to cool the room down but didn’t feel comfortable sleeping with the windows wide open all night (there are ledges connecting all the rooms on the outside and one can step out of the windows easily) so had to sleep with the windows on their cracked open setting which meant the room heated back up naturally to the hotels temp of about 24 C. Optimally sleeping temp is 68C. Hotel needs to keep the whole hotel cooler to make it comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Large selection but not worth the money because the quality isn’t great on a few of the items. Dried out pastries. Weird texture over cooked scrambled eggs. If you don’t get your room cleaned they offer a drink at the bar but in reality they just mean a coke or tea or coffee. The rooms are beautiful, well sized and quiet. The lobby is stylish. I wouldn’t stay again.

An old hotel with a sense of history. The breakfast is of good quality. It is quiet and comfortable. The antique shop on the way out is worth visiting. Lao Zhao Noodle House is nearby and is very delicious.

Vrij groot van de bekende keten Mariott gelegen aan de oevers van de Neckar in deelgemeente Bergheim dat we voor 1 nacht geboekt hadden. Wij hebben vandaar de wandeling gedaan naar de Mittlerbrücke en terug en ik moet zeggen dat is wel meer dan 10.000 stappen, m.a.w. toch een stevige wandeling. De kamers zijn zeer ruim en van alle comfort voorzien. Er is ook een (zeer koud) zwembad, sauna en fitnesszaal. Het ontbijt, bij goed weer, kan je buiten nemen aan de Neckar, een echte meerwaarde. Het restaurant van het hotel maakt gebruik van hetzelfde terras. Parking is ondergronds en zeer ruim maar niet goedkoop. Mariott verstrekte de service die je er mag verwachten. Het werd een luxueuze start van onze city trip aan Heidelberg.

Very good, except for a small bug crawling on my hand, maybe because I live near the road and the beach and the floor is low. The surrounding environment is very good, the room is not too big, the entrance is the cloakroom and the kitchen, and then the living room, inside the bedroom is connected to the bathroom, there are shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, slippers, hot water bottle, and two free bottles of Saint Pellegrino. But the hotel does not have a parking lot. The clerk will drive a golf cart to take you to the public parking lot and then drive you back. The parking lot is 1 km away from the hotel.

Goldener Falke was a great place to stay. We were there for 9 nights. It's cozy and comfortable and located right on the Marketplatz in Heidelberg. The staff were very helpful and responsive. The food is excellent. It's like a cozy Inn. There were no unwanted surprises. We booked over ******* and everything went as planned!

This was my first stay at the Exzellenz Hotel and I was quite pleased. It is within easy walking distance of Bismarkplatz and the start of the Altstadt Hauptstraße. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and updated. And the front desk staff were very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to give me the information I was looking for. The breakfast was typical of what you would expect from a German hotel and, overall, I was very satisfied with the value of my stay.
